The End is the Beginning by the Smashing Pumpkins. What's the song playing at the beginning of the trailer? Fit perfectly with the mood. Can't wait for this.

or I could upload it in flv right now. take your pick.
I second this.Jenga said:
I was just thinking that watching this trailer (loved it btw) - a song from one of the least liked superhero movies ever in what's probably going to be one of the most liked. Batman and Robin had such an array of good licensed music though. This song, Underworld, Molokobengraven said:Holy shit, love that song.
And it's from the Batman and Robin soundtrack: irony.
FLV, don't covert anything. MPC and VLC both can play FLV just fine.SpeedingUptoStop said:I could convert it to avi (which will take 20 minutes or so)

AVI please. The wait will be worth it.SpeedingUptoStop said:I could convert it to avi (which will take 20 minutes or so)

No complaints here. Looks fucking excellent. I'm sure I'll get used to the Ozy look.Dascu said:Ok, I'm sure people will start bitching about how some characters (Nite Owl for example) look "too hightech", but fuck it. That was a cool trailer and I can't wait to watch this film.
SpeedingUptoStop said:Alright, avi conversion was a terrible failure. FLV is how you're gonna have to take, someone's gonna have to convert it on their own. sry.
less than 20 minutes until flv downlaod will be available.

Someone said, like Those costumes look like Joel Schumacher! And I go Do you think that I dont know? Do you think that would be an accident? If you dont acknowledge where comic book movies are right now, if you cant in the same way that Watchmen referenced and took apart the comic book genre and the comic book heroes, you have to make some reference to those same decisions in cinema. You have to. And if you think the fact that Ozys costume has nipples is a mistake or that we dont understand the design, then it's like to me thats crazy. It's just you really need to pay more attention to what were doing.

I think this song is an edit of the original and is called "The Beginning Is The End Is The Beginning". The other one, called "The End Is The Beginning Is The End" was much more upbeat.QUOTE]
Yeah, the slow mix is absolutely perfect for a movie trailer.
Can't wait to watch it.
3 minutes until break.

njp142 said:Was the Comedian in there? I was wondering what he looked like.
Edit: wasn't part of the idea of the Watchmen comic is that these superheroes were generic cliched characters and kind of lame (Nite Owl a crappy Batman, Rorshach just a crazy guy with a mask and trenchcoat...)? They sure don't seem to be using this for the theme and are just making them as badass as possible.
While Nite Owl evolved from the Blue Beetle, both Nite Owl and Rorschach were extreme takes on the Batman character.SupahBlah said:Nite Owl was the Blue Beetle.
Batman would be more like Rorschach if he was anyone.
The book is unbelievable, I absolutely love it. He seems to have got the style down but I'm still hesitant.

It's fucking awesome.
