Kingdom's of Amalur: Reckoning. With the embargo on previews/news lifting on the 7th I'm as excited as I possibly could be over hearing more about this.

Skyrim: The ES games are amongst my most loved games so I cannot wait.

Deus Ex: HR, The Lord of the Rings: The War in the North and Dragon Age II.

There are alot more but yeah, I'm an rpg nut.

Now that You Don't Know Jack is out, I think Catherine might be the only title I buy day one for the rest of the year.

There's an awful lot man. If Dark Souls makes 2011, that's absolutely my most anticipated game of the year. Hard to argue with such a choice. It looks and sounds insane.

I've got like 30 games on the must list for the remainder of the year, though. This is a fantastic year on paper.

Deus Ex, Portal 2, Torchlight 2 and Gears 3 are the only ones that I'll definitely be buying day one. I'll wait for everything else to go down in price unless the hype gets to me.

2011 is so crowded that I honestly couldn't say. My two next purchases though : The Witcher 2 and Infamous 2. Can't wait for both of them.

I don't think so either, but if it doesn't I can't see it making it out in Japan either. The localization must be basically nothing.

My big 3:

The Witcher 2
This one quickly shot up to the top of my list after playing and loving The Witcher 1, and seeing the super impressive media released recently. Witcher is a fantastic game, and the sequel looks to be a massive improvement as well as boasting some of the most cutting edge graphics you can find. Being able to import my save and continue with my choices from the first game only makes it that much more appealing.


Dark Souls
HUGE Demon's Souls fan, how could I not be thrilled about this one? Like The Witcher 2, it looks to build off of something great, and I expect the sequel to make and break me. It appears that From Software knows exactly what the fans loved about DS, and they'll be retaining those qualities in the sequel while attempting something much more ambitious with an evolution of DS's online features and a larger, more open world.


The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim
It's the fucking Elder Scrolls, of course I'm hyped for this one. Morrowind and Oblivion have sucked away more of my free time than any other series, and Bethesda seems to have learned from Oblivion's failings and are sure to deliver something that will capture my imagination and the thrill of exploration as well as Morrowind did.



It's a downright fucknuts year for gaming, especially for a big fan of WRPG's like myself. I could not ask for more. I could last the rest of the year with just those 3 but of course there's way more...

Honorable mentions go to: Risen 2, Motorstorm: Apocalypse (batshit crazy racing <3), Batman 2, Infamous 2 (Sucker Punch 4 life), Uncharted 3, Deus Ex: HR (could be my GOTY if it's anything like the first game), Magicka: Vietnam (LOLOL), Mass Effect 3 (feels like it'll be 2012, though) and a few others I'm forgetting.

oh fuck me I forgot Saints Row: The Third

Bulletstorm was my most anticipated, so now I'm most looking forward to Portal 2, Battlefield 3, Duke Nukem Forever (hasn't totally sold me yet though), and possibly Homefront.

And Super Meat boy for Mac/Level editor and level matchmaker

Edit: The Halo 1 remake rumor has me excited

These are the top ones, but there are tons of other ones I like Battlefield 3, Skyrim, Ratchet All 4 One, Deus Ex, Crysis 2, Arkham City, Resistance 3, SOCOM 4, Dark Souls, Witcher 2 and etc. Because there are so many games I probably will by most of them when they get cheap, won't have time to play all those games from day 1.

EDIT: Diablo 3 would have been top but I doubt that will release this year, Last Guardina would have been 2nd but I also doubt that will come this year.
