Portal 2 - because Portal is just pure brilliance, and The Witcher 2 because the The Witcher 1 puts Bioware to shame.

Yes, yes it is. Gearbox dudes have implied the production of Borderlands 2 forever, and the chances of it happening are pretty much 99%. Actually, there is little doubt that it isn't already happening.

Oh apologies, I'm not sure about the date, I guess it's just an assumption that it'll be out this year. Also, I didn't even know that site was banned, first time I've been on it.

portal 2 - valve's standard of game design is superb, the portal first person puzzle concept is wonderful and i'm very curious to see how they expand this into a full price game.
rayman origins - way too long since michel ancel has released a game. 2d platformers are a favourite genre of mine and christophe heral composing for the game just puts it over the edge.
human revolution - the deus ex model of rpg-shooter with meaningful player choice is a design that i find very interesting and this looks to pull it off successfully judging by previews. i also like the very gold world design.
journey - the game concept of pure exploration alone has me a flutter, it being from the makers of the lovely flower is encouraging and the videos and screens show off great presentation with a simple but stunning aesethic.

working on the basis that i reckon the last guardian isn't coming out this year.

Now that Dragon Quest VI is out, the only other game I am greatly anticipating is Uncharted 3. There is plenty of other games I am interested in, though.

Interesting to see Fantasy Life on more lists than I expected. What is it about the game that excites you guys? I've got my own reasons for anticipating it but I'm curious what others think. (also kinda curious how people could be deluded enough to think it will have a western release in 2011, heh).

There are only two games that I'm absolutely sure will come out in 2011 here that I'm feverishly anticipating: Persona 2 PSP and El Shaddai. I'm pessimistic about Layton 4, Ninokuni DS and Rhythm Heaven Wii, but those would be day ones too. Then there are like 15 other games I'll get after price drops, if history is any guide.

So how many 2011 games are getting delayed to Q1 2012? I can see publishers not wanting to have their games go up against the likes of Modern Warfare 3, Battlefield 3, Skyrim and Uncharted 3.

I don't think BF3 has even said they're coming out in 2011

Mass Effect 3 will get delayed, probably out in early 2012 with TOR in later 2012
Diablo 3 will get delayed... Again.

Everything else seems fine. But remember that we're in March just now so it's not like a lot of Holiday titles have been announced
