Usually go with either a beer I haven't tried, a favorite, or the cheap special. Lately I'll go for the cheapest they offer as I'm really starting to get bored of IPAs/Stouts/whatever.

sports bar / college bar/ dive bar = bottled beer

pub = guinness or bushmills

casual / contemporary = long island or mojito

out for sushi = mojito
