Remakes only interest me if it's a game I've played before, and loved, and if it's intact/same but improved.

Games like OOT3D are more like re-masterings than true remakes. I can see why a lot people wouldn't really be interested if they've already played the game to death.
Resident Evil on the other hand showed the true potential of a high quality remake.
What excites me about remakes? Nothing, nothing at all.

Many games don't need remakes, but when I think remake I think of an old classic that's taken, updated, expanded with details to perfectly accommodate the new additions and faithful to its aesthetic and audio. Bionic Commando: Rearmed is for me the golden example of what a remake should be.
