• Hey Guest. Check out your NeoGAF Wrapped 2025 results here!

What games have you already finished this year?

Gotham Knights and two Steinsgate games. That's 30+40+30 hours so not that bad.

Unlocking remaining endings in Silent Hill f is next on my list.

DS2 with all its expacks, re-played my ps4 copy durning xmas/newyears time, and it still holds up, easly 9/10 objective rating(im soulsborne fanatic so subjectively its close to 10/10).

Fuck,it was crossgen release 2 gens ago and it is still so good, both gameplay and animations, on top all the secrets, proper difficulty that u as a player can affect by going particular build etc.
Hell its better from so praised exp 33 that won all the awards in the world in 2025 :P
It also sold over 10m copies, most modern audience slop from this gen would love to have that amount of sales xD

RE Village for the first time. Loved it. Will definitely do a replay in the future on harder difficulty.
Quantum of Solace - beat a bunch of PS2 era 007 games last year. Now I'm going through the Craig games.

Star Trek Resurgence

Picked it up for like $7 during Steam's Winter sale. Great game, but has some technical issues that will never be fixed. Also can't review your Choices because it's not a function within the game itself, it's tied to the website that doesn't seem to be managed anymore...

My gaming this year so far consisted of 10 minutes of Monster Hunter Wilds to test if they`ve fixed the performance to an acceptable degree, yet (they haven`t). I´ll probably play and get totally addicted to NiOh3, though.

Star Wars Jedi Fallen Order
Slay the Spire

But I think I started them December.

Dropped Control because I just wasn't enjoying it.

Started Banishers: Ghosts of New Eden. So far so good

WH40k Boltgun

Good times.

Currently playing Silent Hill 2 R. Its amazing, but by the gods, why is so big. I thought I was near the end, turns out I have only been 1/3 the way through.

Not sure I beat any after Jan 1st, but I'd have to check. I've been multitasking a few games though that are all nearly done.

Almost done:

Commandos Origins
Echo Generation
Shady Part of Me
My Little Pony: A Zephyr Mystery

After that, will probably jump into MIO, Outer Worlds 2 and High on Life 2.

I finished the last ending achievements on Wuchang and 100% both 9 Years of Shadows and Arzette: The Jewel of Faramore.

My next game(s) will be Wicked Seed starting tomorrow and then going back to The Last Faith since they just released free DLC with new game modes before going balls deep on REquiem.

So far:

Little Nightmares 3
The Midnight Walk
Silent Hill f (first ending, which is enough for me)

I don't really play or enjoy horror games outside of Resident Evil but started off with 3 this year.

Recently I finished persona 5 royal that I started in December 2025; 3rd semester storyline (the new addition). I finished persona 5 (original vanilla version) years ago. I kinda burned with it, over 150 hours playtime so perhaps no jrpg for awhile.

I still have many games that I want to play this year: valkyria chronicles, yakuza infinite wealth (perhaps will buy on next steam summer sale), and some visual novels. If level 5 release deca police this year, then that will be my priority. Also hopefully gta 6.

GTA III and Vice City on PCSX2 emulator.

Resident Evil 7 + all the DLC. Normal mode, went in blind and played in my Steam Deck Oled with noise cancelling headphones at night only when the kids are in bed. Really enjoyed this one 8/10.

Sadly sold my PSVR1 but making it up now by playing REVillage on PSVR2 (about 4 hours in) as my first play through. Absolute cinema!

Windswept(the duck and turtle dkc like platformer), didnt finish it last year but got back to it and learned it was even better with more dept than i had discovered before, after beating it Im maybe being on the 2nd to last worlds extra hard bonus level and its tricky to get everything there for sure. I like that the stage starts with "ok this looks super hard" then you learn and get into a rhytm after a bit of practice and find what works and then its all about execution and quick thinking.

So far this year:

I'm also playing Resident Evil 2 (remake) for the first time, and really enjoying that so far. I'm about halfway through Tales of Xillia, Final Fantasy VII Remake, and Ace Combat 7. Almost done with Trails from Zero, will probably finish that one next.

Metroid Prime 4 and Tomb Raider Anniversary. Working in Ghost of Yotei now. 20 hrs in and still like the game cycle however it's a rinse and repeat of Tsushima. Wish they would of changed a little more of the mission structure.

What are you using to track this?

Khazan the First Berzerker & Cronos... both amazing games. Working on Wuchang Fallen Feathers now, and just bought Tainted Grail: Fall of Avalon even tho I shouldn't have bought another game lol. Still need to grab Ninja Gaiden 4 and def picking up RE9 day one.

Pretty great tool. I used to just have a spreadsheet that I started keeping back in 2014 but put all my data in this site when I found out about it. Gives me a pretty good "at-a-glance" stats.

I started them both at the end of last year, but the first and second games I rolled credits on this year were Horizon II: Forbidden West and Metroid Prime 4: Beyond.

I'm currently working my way through Mario & Luigi: Brothership and Ghost of Tsushima.

Just finished Silent Hill F yesterday. Im waiting to see if there is anything interesting in today Steam deals, otherwise I'll probably start The Witcher 3, Cyberpunk 2077 or Baldurs Gate 3 since I barely touched them because of well... adult life.

Ohh okay. I used backlogged a long time ago. I should probably use it again.

Batman Arkham City (largely from last year, played the shit out of it over Christmas break, and only really did the final section + boss this year, but still counts!)
Akiba's Trip Undead and Undressed (Good lighthearted fun, Surprisingly similar to the Yakuza games setup)
The Testament of Sherlock Holmes (Love the Frogwares games, missed the Platinum by one stinking trophy. Considering running again for it, but backlog beckons)
Spider-Man (Pretty great, actually gives the Rocksteady games a run for their money)

I finised these two games this year.

These games have been FANTASTIC! I avoided these games longest time because I thought just gonna just another wanna be Pokémon with MH IP.

I was so wrong, I love how cleverly put MH mechanics in turn based combat and its entire gameplay loop is very much MH including having low rank for story and High Rank for post game.

I cant wait for Stories 3 and I hope it doe well enough that they willing do Master Rank expansion like for they do for mainline series.

Stray and Super Mario Galaxy, credits, not 100%

Nearly finished with Eriksholm: The Stolen Dream.

There's no way I'm going to finish 52 games this year unless I cheese the contest with vintage platformers. I'm not above this!
