Help Bob Bros in this amazing game!
This is a platform game that combines the best games for kids there is with the modern 3D graphics that your device can create! Beautiful environment, music and Bob character, this game is perfect for kids!

Looks like the level geometry might actually be ripped from the original game, too (can't be entirely sure since the textures are so bad). Bob belongs in the most swoll character thread :D

Beautiful environment, music and Bob character, this game is perfect for kids... Bob character with more then 20 different movements

It's their own original Bob character. I don't see what the problem is here

The only real thing they had to make was their main character and ingame they couldnt even get that right. Looks like he suffers from popeye disease.

nintendo better move in on mobile

this is getting out of hand

at least the trees have better graphics than mario 64

Isn't that kind of illegal? I imagine Nintendo would have a group of lawyers who look out for things like that. On the other hand maybe the recognize that its not worth their time. It would be interesting to know how many blatant plagiarized Mario (and Nintendo clones) are on IOS/Android

Holy fuck @ the glitches.

I wouldn't call those glitches, it's just very basic programming with no collision detection and simple camera management. The plagiarism is blatant and the production value is as low as can be, but the comments in that youtube video aren't too bright either.

SMH @ the examples in this thread. Mobile gaming seems to become more and more inbred with each passing year. I'm starting to seriously consider the idea that a mobile game crash would clean the waters.

The real sadness starts when you stop and imagine how many mobile appers will play Bob's Bros and never even know that it's blatant plagiarism of a true classic and potentially think it's amazing.

lol c'mon

gameplay looks broken to all hell and we're talking about people that dont know what Mario is?

no one will think this is amazing

Six? Seven?

We're talking about the same people who thought Flappy Bird was amazing, that make anyone think it's a good and potentially viable idea to do something like this in such high volumes in the first place... and they may know Mario, but they might not know any of the specific ones... gonna be a lot of kids with phones who've never seen or heard of any of that, especially a 96 Mario, and entire demographics of adults who play games on their phones and tablets that never played anything prior to 2006 or so.

look @ 1:30. That's a game breaking glitch.

Y'see, this is why I think mobile gaming is a complete mess. This, and the fact that controlling most games with only a touchscreen is absolutely atrocious.

Yes, don't blame the idiots who make the games, blame 'mobile games'

When you're being preyed on by exotic reptiles, overheating from tropical humidity, and at the mercy of bizarre insect species who cause any wounds you get to fester, you start to blame the environment as a whole and not the individual threats

The fact that the environment contains delightful treats like... bananas... or colorful parrots... starts to pale to the downsides after a while

Yeah its weird. I saw a gameplay Youtube video and despite the fact that this game completely rips off a classic and makes it look like a buggy, unplayable mess, the one thing that bothered me the most was the virtual analog touch thingy on the bottom left. Basically, i was completely ignoring the game itself, it doesn't matter what game it is, if its good or bad, this virtual touch analog stick renders any game that has it non-existent, for me.

I'll admit, I actually like the colors in this game compared to most games out there.

There's also a game that literally steals Yoshi.
