What is the most dangerous/awkward game to play when there are people around ?

I always find it amusing that the games that gamers consider to be embarrassing are the ones with some sort of sexual theme to them (or sometimes awkward dialogue). But never games that are hyper violent. Even though the hyper violent games are the ones that the general public tends to take issue with.

I did feel the cold shivers of shame playing Bioshock Infinite in the train next to an elderly woman. Funny thing is that I'm not even sure she was looking at the screen or anything, but man the melee combat in this game is just too gruesome. I finally called it quits and switched to NSMB on Dolphin instead. Don't know if that really helped my case tho...

The new Tomb Raider also attracted some weird looks in trains and planes (hello river of blood).

Persona 3/4 and L.A Noire.

Metal Gear Solid 4.

Everything Vamp does, Otacon's crying, Snake peeking up Naomi's skirt, Naomi's massive cleavage, the burping monkey in diapers, Akiba shitting himself in every scene, EVA being called BIG MOMMA and having a wrinkly cleavage, Ocelot going *PEW PEW PEW*.

The list is endless.

Oh god this.

EDIT:
Funny story from last year:
Around October I came home from university for a weekend to see what my family was up to. I brought my Xbox 360 and copy of GTA5 to play and set it up in the basement. At some point my sister came down to go on the treadmill while I was playing and said something like "Is that the new GTA game everyone is talking about? Maybe now I can see what all the fuss is.". Of course I had just started the mission where you play as Trevor and have to interactively torture that guy...

I'm not even sure she was looking at the screen but a few minutes of beating villains' heads to a bloody pulp with my hook made me feel really uncomfortable. I finally called it quits and switched to NSMB on Dolphin instead. Don't know if that really helped my case tho...

How do you play Bioshock infinite or Tomb Raider on a train ?

It stands to reason that one simply shouldn't be playing games that make certain people uncomfortable in the presence of said people. That's just being respectful. You don't watch Cannibal Holocaust on the bus, or listen to Eazy-E when grandma comes to visit, why would games be any different?

If you yourself are ashamed/embarrassed to admit you enjoy a particular game or genre among people you consider friends, you should probably ask yourself why you're friends with them.

Lilith? really? smh..

Well, it is more like when you play a game and there is this one weird scene and when that plays then suddenly somebody busts down your door to your room and thinks you are a creep.

Because maybe being a "gamer" makes you forget that some games are extremely violent. Because it's the norm. It's like if every movie was Cannibal Holocaust.

I actually thought it was funny that being in this situation made me aware of the horrible things depicted on screen during the normal course of the game. It didn't strike me as particularly bad before but suddenly it felt just ridiculous and I just had to stop from shame. Was sweating like if I was watching a porno in public or something haha.

I'll also add that the Elizabeth scenes are maybe just as bad, maybe worse. Felt incredibly nerdy.

Outside of America. Here violence is cool. Although come on, looking at sex stuff with your family in the same room is always awkward.

Ar Tonelico 3. Don't worry, they strip because it helps make them more powerful.

Visual novels. I was playing one (of the all-ages variety), and my nephew walked up, looked at my screen and said "You like Japanese things!"
Oh, the shame...

Dangerous? Most Rockstar games and that aphrodite scene in GOW3/when you fuck those prostitutes for orbs
Awkward? Almost every JRPG

I had some bad times with Kingdom Hearts 2. The cheesy dialogue and a lot teenagers still look down upon Disney.

Plus the Atlantica world.

My dad walked in on me getting a lap dance at the strip club in GTA 5. He just laughed it off and said video games sure have come a long way.

FFX-2 or almost any voiced RPG really. Cutscenes suddenly sound completely awkward and ridiculous when framed through the eyes and ears of your non-gamer friends. Just try beginning to explain the intro of X-2 to a pal who's only really played Mario games or Halo or something.

Corpse Party might be one that'd be bad around other people.

Gore stuff

Oh hey, thanks for the gore warning.

Just what I wanted to see on my Sunday afternoon, a teenage girl getting her tongue cut off and eye stabbed.

On Topic, FF X-2. My older brother was in the room during the intro. I wanted to hide in a ditch and die.

The Sims definitely. Its always awkward because our computer is in the living room and I always pan the camera away or focus on other sims whenever I have to do any romantic interactions.

Animal Crossing also. That's just a weird game to explain to anybody that's around.
