I don't wear a watch. I use my phone. I used to have one, but I just can't stand the feeling, and I always ended up taking it off when I have to work or write, which isn't all that practical. According to OnkelC though I don't have a watch because I'm too poor to buy a nice one.

When I was in 6th grade one of my friends had a watch that could be programed to act as a remote for a TV. So we sat in the back during a class movie and kept switching the channel, turning it on and off, and messing with the volume. I think we gave our poor teacher a stress heart attack.

I did that my freshman year of highschool, 95-96. I probably would've been expelled if they knew about the amount of havoc I wreaked with that thing. At least two VCRs and one TV were sent away for repairs, only to come back as mysteriously dysfunctional as before.

I stopped wearing one ever since I got a mobile phone. What's the point?

I used to think the same way but after going on a trip overseas, I got one since I wasn't carrying a phone there. Since then, I realize how much easier it is to use a watch instead of pulling your phone out all the time. It's way more cumbersome, especially if you're holding things.

That doesn't make any sense. Typically a watch is worn of the wrist that isn't your main hand, ie.e right-handed with watch on left wrist.

Typically true, but for some reason, it's always felt more comfortable for me to wear it on the same wrist as my main hand. Never gets in the way for me at least.
