It's astonishing how some are still blindly believing PR bs by Nintendo. How much more does it take to accept reality, Reggie yelling it straight into your face? They ,,outright say'' a lot of things. Like that their shitty lineup from E3 2012 isn't so bad because it's all within some mysterious launch window. In the end, nothing except Lego City (just barely) made it out in that timeframe and the final ,,launch window'' game released just several weeks ago (Wii Fit). Until late into last year they also outright said that they wouldn't repeat these mistakes and create momentum through software. But here's the reality: Literally only 2 games released within 6 months (excluding shovelware).
It doesn't matter if they need the games. They simply can't provide them, which is proven by the worst lineup they had since the Virtual Boy and their teams constantly admitting that they are completely overwhelmed by HD development. You'll get your Zelda as the console's swansong (alongside the other January '13 pseudo announcements finally materialising), maybe ROM Remix 3 and some other unknown cashgrab eventually. Iwata's extreme shortsightedness and ignorance has led to a colossal failure of a console which will never see a constant stream of games - 3 years of absolute shit E3s and constant homeconsole droughts since the release of Donkey Kong Country Returns (2010) should have even taught the biggest fanboy by now. Maybe start putting two and two together for once instead of blindly eating up and accepting every ,,please understand'' they give you.
