Probably because they used too much. You have to realize your house shifts and cracks everytime. It is actually "living" but it does so in a very slow pace.

There was no way to go but up. It finds a way of the least resistance.

Bingo, someone said this on the front page, so I didn't think I would need to comment, but everyone is still debating it.

If it's the basement and it's foaming up like that, it seems like it was some unactivated foam, that with settling, has received oxygen to it and it's reacting.

That's really odd to me, I am not an expert or anything, but aren't most basement floors concrete and then maybe wood flooring? Why would anyone insulate a basement floor?
