When did you stopped getting ID checked regularly?

At bars never, but in Finland you get ID checked if you look below 30 which means pretty much always to the point where I already have my ID out when I buy beer. Never at the liquor store though. Weird country.

(I am 26 and rather short ~177cm and used to look much younger to boot)

18 or younger for booze, cigs and stuff. I started getting carded for my college events around the same time. I've looked like I was 40 since my late teens.

Hardly ever. But the last time was when I was in Gamestop a couple of months ago and I got carded but I think that was b/c the guy was new more than anything. But I couldn't even tell you the last time I was carded before that.

I don't think I ever got carded at all. Managed to enter casinos and clubs at age 15/16 without issues.I'd say that it was because of my big-ass beard. Minimum age here to buy alcohol is 16 years old so that wasn't ever a issue either.

I had to stop drinking in the last couple of years so I have rarely been in the situation where I would be carded, but until that point (about 31) I was still carded occasionally.

Growing a beard solved most of that as it hides the baby face.

I still get carded all the time at 31. People usually say I look like I'm 21, so hopefully that continues for a while still lol

I'm 36, and get carded fairly regularly. My wife is 32, and she gets carded all the time. We're both short, though, so I'm sure that's part of it.

Ever see those signs that say something like "We check ID's if you're under 40"? If they ask for my ID I should just say I'm 41. If they say "show me your ID to prove you're 41" then I would just ask them what the hell is the use of that sign in the first place.

The bouncers at most bars around here card me as do liquor stores. I'm also 27.

But then again, I've never actually seen anyone not get carded by a bouncer or at liquor store in NYC. I never get carded at restaurants though.

I started growing a beard off and on around 24. When I have the beard I usually don't get carded when I'm out, but I'll always get carded at a liquor store.

Probably never. I still pretty much look the same I did when I started high school.

One of the joys of being unable to grow facial hair.

Haven't been carded for alchohol in 10 years or so, and only sporatically before that (I'm 39 now). The grey in both my hair and beard make a difference there.

Hilariously, gamestop still sees fit to verify my age if i want an M rated game. I just shake my head.

Honestly, it's really location based. If I'm downtown Minneapolis, I get carded for everything, every time and I'm currently 24, with the rare exception I get a server that remembers me. But when I went to college in La Crosse, WI I didn't even need to bother getting a fake ID to drink in the bars early because very few places bothered carding. Same thing when I moved to central WI.

Once I turned 31.

I got asked for ID twice in one night while I was 30. I'm 34 now. Most people still refuse to believe in not in my 20s. I grew a beard just to look my age and like I'm a father.
