who plans on owning multiple next-gen consoles?

I have a 360.

I'll get a PS3 once there is a decent library available and a price drop.

Rev will need a killer app or a years worth of a game library before I commit to it.

360 & PS3 - for the exclusives that each will have, plus being able to pick the best version of multiconsole...

PC- for the few PC-exclusive titles that come out each year...

REV - no time left for Nintendo gaming, and the little guy won't be old enough to game until Revolution 2...

Just gonna get a revolution.

And maybe a PS3 when the PS4's released. And a 360 when it's been properly hacked (hypothetically speaking, of course)

Revolution because I like Nintendo's main franchises and I like quirky/cutesy games. Of course we haven't seen any proper Revolution footage so far so things might change.

PS3 because if the "previous/current" gen was anything to go by then the PS3 will have most of the games I'd be interested in. And no, there are plenty of big titles which will be ps3 exclusive. Besides, since I sorta work for Sony I'm betting on getting a free PS3 anyway (got a free PSP last year) :)

X360 has a few titles I'd be interested in so I do want to own one eventually. Not right now though.

In general I like all kinds of games and have no real bias for or against any console competitor, and ideally would like to own them all (except for the Swedish Maffia-supported Gizmondo).

I'll have all the consoles, plus my PC. To many incredible games exclusive to each that must be played. I trully feel for those people who have to settle for just one console. It's a damn shame.

unfortunately my gaming tastes are so wide that there are *must have* titles for me on every system. so in all likelyhood I'll have all 3 next gen consoles. but definitely not right away. I want an xbox360, but I don't have the money for it now, and I kinda want to see what the other 2 guys are gonna dish out before deciding which one to pick up first. If the PS3 launch lineup is good and the 360 doesn't secure enough exclusives I may hold off on getting one until a price drop.

What my heterosexual life partner Borys said. Minus the PS3 and REV. Might get 360 and PS3, or one of the two with REV. Have little interest in REV.

Xbox 360 already have, will just get big exclusives
PS3 japanese exclusives, multiplatform games, gta, etc
Rev all wacky cool games.

Like the current gen, I plan on owning them all.

PS3 at launch if I can.
Rev as close to launch as my wallet will allow.
360.. maybe sometime in late 2007.

Already have my 360, will certainly get a PS3, but unlikely to get a Rev, 2 consoles per gen suits me and I've never gotten into Nintendos franchises.

Yeah, I'm planning on camping out, buying a PS3, selling it on EBAY for 2000+ dollars, and then using the profits to buy a PS3, Revolution, and about 20 launch games.

Consumerism + greed FTW

Exactly what I was going to write.

360 for the best of west and online

PS3 for the best of east

First gen im going to miss out on a new Nintendo console

I'm going to wait a while and see how the games look before I buy anything next gen. At least until there is a well established greatest hits line up.

I bought a 360 today and PS3 is a must buy for me. I am sure I will get a Revolution too but I would like to see some games first.

Three console future ftw!

I may even buy a new PC in 2 or 3 years but right now I have no need for one.

I'll be getting Revolution on launch if it really is as cheap as they say and then later on when I have the funds, I'll get a PS3 for the graphics whore in me and all those other games I won't be able to play on the Rev. I'll also have a high end PC by that time to play all those games that I would buy an Xbox360 for, but don't need to since they're on the PC (like GRAWPC, Oblivion and KOTOR3)

PS3: $400. Would rather have it at $300. Depends what's out for launch. The biggest thing holding me back is the whole "first gen sony hardware" thing.
Revolution: Launch.
X360: At $200 or when KOTOR III hits. Whichever's first.

I will barely be able to afford one console after a price drop. Factor in the increase in game cost and I will just have to be alot more selective this gen.

So far just the 360, and I've already purchased 10 games for it so I've spent upwards of $1100 already on the 360. Maybe the Revolution if it has some quirky games that appeal to women that might be interested in playing when they come over. PS3........I'm waiting for a pricetag and list of exclusives. Tekken and Metal Gear might be enough to real me in.

I'll be getting all 3 again but probably only the revolution at launch (PS3 is just sounding too expensive, and I felt burned on the Xbox so I'll be waiting for major price drops on the 360 before getting it)

Just about every console ends up with a few exclusives I want to play so

Yup, me too. History will repeat this gen. A PS3 will join the 360, but Nintendo has never rocked my boat and I doubt that will change.

X360 is mine, PS3 shall be mine.

Nintendo is going to have to do a ton to sell me a Revolution. Nintendo consoles are practically dead to me.

revolution is a definite for me, and if they never announce oblivion or the next ninja gaiden game for the ps3, i'll get a 360 too... ps3 is still up in the air for me.. it depends on whether those franchises end up on the 360 or the ps3. i'm gonna have trouble holding off for long on oblivion and if i had the money right now i would go buy a 360 (if i could find one).

Out of the current three systems i probably spent less time with my ps2 than any other, but when it's all over with i will probably have all three again just because i hate to miss great games. The only reason i might not end up getting all three is if the ps3 is outrageously priced. But the revolution is the only definite... i have to play the nintendo franchises.

Every single one of them. I love games and it doesn't matter what console it's on, if it's fun, it's going to be on my shelf.

Most likely play the 360 the most because it looks to be the very best out there.

I think I'll be back to just a single console this gen.

Last gen was the first time I ever owned more than one console (GC + Xbox)

Actually, last gen was the first time I ever owned a non-nintendo console too.....and this gen looks like the first time I'll go without a nintendo console....

Sorry big N, but I'm tired of you stringing us along with no info, and I just don't have the faith in you any more.

So it's between 360 and PS3 for me...probably going to go with the 360 because I love me some Halo and I don't think I can wait like two more years for the PS3 to come out and for its price to drop.

I'll probably wait to see how much free time I have games once I'm done with school, but if it's like this gen I'll buy all three and end up selling one of them due to a lack of use.
