They all won again :\

(Yes, I know I'm focusing on something the show explicitly says doesn't matter, but c'mon, "you all win!" three times in a row?)

Other than that, fun episode.

Yeah, Drew used to have fun with it and would pick whoever he thought could work well with the material. Plus they used to do a separate game with him when they won instead of the old UK style they do now where they just read the credits. Other than that the show is great, but still, I miss the old winner method. I guess Tyler is not really an Improv performer? Neither was Clive (I don't think) but Drew had experience so he could join in when he needed to. (The three Whose Line Drew Carey episodes back in the day were amazing.)

This show is the only reason I would want cable. Catching this on at midnight after a long day was among the highlights of my school-going days. So good.

I saw some reviewss say that Aisha Tyler starts to come into her own a few episodes in. She did seem more comfy on episode 3. Hopefully it gets even better from here on out.
Shes not a terrible host at all but I cant stop myself from comparing her to Carey.

Episode 3 was great, though. I loved the horrible dating videos. Colins "up his ass" moment was so great.
The guest star was awesome and a good sport too. I love when they have as much fun as the performers.

I kinda like that Aisha is more in the background than Drew was. Drew had some great moments, but IMO he was the least funny person on the show at any given time so I didn't always like how much time he took up. With Aisha, I feel like I get more Colin, Wayne, and Ryan...and that's really all I want.

That was a decent amount of my senior year of high school, waiting until midnight to watch Whose Line reruns on ABC Family. So disappointed when they stopped doing that. Wonder if the CW will start showing the old episodes.

Watched the latest episode. Too many commercials, not enough audience interaction and where the fuck is scenes from a hat?
They did Scenes from a Hat in both episodes last week. From episode 1 & episode 2

As for Aisha, it seems she's trying (there seemed to be an improvement over last week's episodes), but I have to agree that she doesn't contribute much to the show compared to Drew, but then again, that means more focus on the main 4. Though yeah, kind of liked it when they'd chose a winner, then do a special game at the end. Hoping that'll return eventually.

Also noticed that CW has the full episodes on their site as well.

Feels like the old show, which is good. Not so keen on the guest stars, wish they would just use audience members like before. Also: fucking keep your hashtags to yourself. It's painful to watch when almost every scene has a network suggested hashtag for you to use. It's cringeworthy.

Id like to see Aisha get involved at the end like Drew used to. Whose Line US didnt ever do the "read the credits" thing, did they? I remember that from the British version but am not sure about US.

Either way, they should drop that and bring back the hoedown.

We havent seen any Irish Drinking Songs or Three Headed Broadway Stars yet. Needs to happen!

Fantastic episode and the guest wasn't as annoying. I still miss the games from the old show that they haven't done yet. I hope the guest thing goes eventually or becomes less frequent.

Well, I like the fact that Colin, Wayne, and Ryan used Drew in some of their skits. Poking fun at the host was part of the fun, but with Aisha I don't think we'll really get that.

Pretty sure they did. But it was rarely more than 15 seconds or so, and it was hard to hear because music got played at the same time iirc.

She's poking fun at them, so it's only a matter of time.

But I'm not really sure what they'll poke fun at her for. She's kinda legitimately great.

Aisha needs to do more of "the points don't matter" jokes during the show's intro. You know, the ones like, "that's right, the points are like a comb for Colin Mochrie."

It was liked those, and I need more. Aisha will say one or two during the show, but it needs to happen at the beginning!

The hand up the ass joke was hilarious. I hope they don't do the "doggy style with the sexy female celebrity guest" joke every episode.

haha I agree but at the same time, it's almost already an inside joke for Colin. It could become funny just from not being that funny if he keeps doing it.

Yeah Drew was an easy target because he was a goofy guy, whereas Aisha comes across as more of a polished professional. Plus she's a woman which puts more limits on the level of teasing they can get away with without seeming mean.

Wayne's stake you from behind was rare (at least I don't remember seeing it happen) where he cracks himself up so much during a musical number. Loved it.

Here you go.

I finally got to see the sideways skit, I was aching from laughing so much

Ha! I was thinking the same thing!
I remember Drew saying one: "...and the points don't matter, just like the fall lineup of UPN" and I was like DAMN moesha's gonna be pissed

40 Minute Blooper Real

I watched this earlier and it's hilarious. It's all stuff that couldn't make it on-air. I'm kinda surprised by some of the things that were censored (like the suggestion of a blind superhero because blind people might be offended).

that third episode had me in tears. the most i've laughed at a TV show since i was like.. a young kid watching whose line

Oh my god.

Ryan: Collin, if a bird were able to say the name of the next band on this CD, what type of bird would it be?
Collin: A tern?
Ryan: A what?
Collin: An Arctic Tern
Ryan: And what kind of sound does an Arctic Tern make?
Collin: Backstreet Boys
Ryan: ...

I'm in tears.

I saw this a few years ago. I was in tears then and I was in tears now. I'd been looking for it for a while. So glad you posted it. Funniest thing ever from the show.

"If we do another Hoedown I'm gonna slit my fucking wrist!"
"Hey, at least we get to see Ryan slit his fucking wrist!"

I can't believe how pissed off Ryan gets on the show lol it's amazing how he turns his anger into hilarity. I love how much he hates the censor guys.

Hot damn, the ratings must've been great enough to warrant a 2nd season already with only 3 episodes airing. In any case, awesome news.

Hang on. 24 episodes to be aired this season? Or 24 episodes to be split up into two more seasons? Are we still only getting 10 this year or does this mean the season will be longer now? Because damn I love this new stuff.

I was watching more classic Whose Line on that website last night when one of the sources they use for hosting decided to either go down or the videos are missing. Either way I was bummed when I had to stop.
