I iike bagels, but fuck cream cheese.
There are better things to top them with.
But there are so many different kinds of cream cheese.
I love me a bagel breakfast sandwich, lox bagel, and even PB&J bagels though.

One everything bagel. Thin layer of butter. Melted white Vermont extra sharp cheddar on top. Two strips of bacon.
...and what if I don't want my bagel to be sweeter?

Fuck I want to go to Montreal now
I would fly up there just for the food
So New York can't even make good bagels.
What a shame.
At least you can still get a good New York slice at Sbarro.
NYC bagels forever. There's a reason they're famous.
Montreal style all the way. We have Kettleman's in Ottawa which is awesome.
anything that's sweet shouldn't even be called a bagel
absolutely disgusting
sure but like....why?
lol. let me set the record straight. I am NY born and raised. I live in Montreal now. I am Jewish. Thus: I AM BAGEL.
I feel like GAF is a large part of why I gained weight. Haven't eaten a bagel in years but now I want one. I used to make a bagel sandwich with pineapple cream cheese, honey turkey, turkey bacon, and spinach leaves. So good.
I was thinking the exact same thing. :/I'm in Utah. There are no good bagels here anyway. Though we do have fantastic water, so maybe we should.
Y'all think Viateur bagels are the best, but I guess you haven't tried the Fairmount ones.

Again, I love both, but I've gotta hand it to Montreal. They have the best bagels. I'm very jealous.
It's endearing how every place's X food is better than -- wait for it! -- New York's X food.
I am sure Montreal's bagels are unique in actually being better than New York's.
Everyone thinks their food is better than NYC's food and they feel forced to write articles about it. Anyone ever notice how it never happens in reverse? There's a reason for that, we're comfortable in our supremacy.
We've got a place in Seattle that does bagels in the 'Montreal' style. I definitely enjoy that place when I'm having bagels.
Curious though, did they originate in Montreal or was it just popularized there?
As I said, it's endearing.
The rest of the world is special, too.
And your 'famous' Halal Guys is nothing but the same shit countless shawarma shops in Toronto cater in droves.
