i only use the default yellow ones. I don't see how having a diversified palette of emojis addresses racial diversity in a meaningful way. Just gives people a way of using identifying emojis to make dumb character chains such as "white emoji > black emoji".

It just invites trouble where none existed before IMO.

I'm not white and I found those emojis extremely obnoxious, I only use the default ones, smilies have always been yellow, it's the standard.

Nah, not on GAF. I mostly see it on Twitter and stuff. GAF is fine. Abbreviations and acronyms are fine. "Ur" isn't an acronym though.
