I don't think you can login right now with the crazy 17 hour maintenance they have going.
This is from the respawn crypt. Every time you died and respawned you could hear often a very sarcastic remark about your return to the living. I think in F2P they have it disabled by default but you can enable it as they thought it was a bit too discouraging.

Furthermore, here are some great addons for when the game launches:

A CSI is a Rapid Tap, Press And Hold, Metronome, or Memory (Simon) event. TapThat does not and will not do press and hold Crowd Control Gameplay that happens when you get stunned

Ah, that sucks. I had always hoped that there might be a viable build where you can rely on the bots to do the bulk of the work.
In the early 2000's I played an MMO, Anarchy Online, that had pet classes where you could let your pets handle it all while you stand back. It was a lazy way of playing but I enjoyed it. I keep looking for that style of play in MMO's.

I'm not sure what Ncsoft is thinking though. So little advertisement before going free to play. Though Ncsoft has made numerous questionable decisions regarding Wildstar.
When the original beta was going on and Carbine announced the date you really could tell by the way they phrased things they weren't pleased either but were forced to release the game at that particular time. They very well knew it was way too early.
I do hope it'll come to steam. Just because it's convienent having it there.

They were at least considering the proposition a few months ago, not bringing it to Steam would just hurt the long term growth.

No idea what you mean by "real release", but if you indeed meant the F2P version release, it's 5 hours away, not days.

Honestly I just want a way to talk and play with gaffers. I like the community here and it would be great to be able to get that while playing too.

I hope it gets made, I like the sound of it and playing with only gaffers and friends of gaffers is the assurance of a mature and nice community.

I'm going to give this another try. Played the pre-launch beta but the optimization wasn't great and with the amount of good, free games out there, the subscription was not happening. Plus it was a little grindy early on.
I will say the world was very interesting. I'm not really an MMO guy but I want to get into it again!
