WildStar: Reloaded |OT| Full Steam Ahead!

A lot of people are hyped here. We will play at Midnight! I tried the beta and it was fun, but there was just no way I'd pay for a subscription. Now that it's F2P I'll gladly play!

Shit in the bath, my brain completely fucked up. Hahahaha sorry guys.

Subscribed.

I'm having trouble figuring out what's gated behind free accounts with a list that long.

What important things would I miss out if I am free only if I want to be a hardcore raider?

  • 2 bank bag slots (paid get 5)
  • 1,000 items placeable in your home (paid get 2,000)
  • Cannot invite into or create a Warparty (can join though)
  • Cannot invite into or create a Guild (can join though)
  • Can join only one Circle (just can't make one)

  • Three active sell lots on the AH, three on the commodities exchange (paid gets 30)

Bank slots could be bad, I guess...

Sounds like you literally have to be carried by a guild for normal stuff lol

Only 2 character slots for free is ridiculous especially when paid gets 12. Why such a huge difference :/

So since I have 3 characters on my account after my sub ran out a few months after launch will the game prompt me to delete one of them or will it just delete one randomly.

People who have purchased a boxed copy of the game are not limited to 2 character slots. See the image in the OP.

Honestly I think you get too much for having a boxed copy. Sure it gets people coming back, but you're already pushing the limits of the loyalty system just by owning the game.

Do you think $0.00 warrants more content/options?

It's not a demo. And it's a genre known for alts. I don't want 12 free slots, but maybe 3 or 4 so you have SOME wiggle room. The idea is to grab people so they spend money in the store eventually, you don't do that by severely limiting people's options in my opinion. Especially when, let's not forget, it's a failed game trying to get a new life by going free, so this "it's free so you get enough" shit doesn't fly

It encourages people to buy something. I bought my box copy on the 25th to get the rewards.

Speaking of boxed copies, I assume those humble bundle codes back from the e3 bundle count as a boxed copy?

Well I only owned the digital version and I'm pretty sure that doesn't count as a boxed copy soo.

Why wouldn't the digital version count as a boxed copy?

I just ran out to gamestop and snagged two box copies for 4.99 each! Good stuff. They had three left but I didn't want to be greedy lol

Do the keys that HumbleBundle gave away a few months ago count as a box copy?

Tried the beta for this, thought it was alright but never ended up subscribing. Was ridiculously busy at the time. Excited to try it out now.

Was planning on creating the NA Exile guild but doesn't look like I'll get out of work until midnight PST tonight. I imagine no one wants to wait for that so if someone wants to get it running

Asked the same earlier but I'm assuming yes. I mean it gives you a month of sub like a box copy would anyway

We'll just create a Circle to chat for the first handful of hours. I'm not sure anyone else is the right level to do it. Chances are I can't get an Exile character to 12 (nor do I want to) in that time.

Hopefully this sticks a little better for me this time. The poor performance and early leveling chased me off before, first dungeon was a lot of fun but after it was over I wasn't in the mood to return to questing... I wish someone would do something different with MMO leveling again.

Backlogged on a billion single player games but nothing persistent to play with friends. Diablo seasons only hold us over for like two weeks, WoW badly needs Legion, Heavensward doesn't even have an end game.

I get what you're saying with the room to explore and try things. And you're right, it was a failed game. But at the same time, personally, I have a tough time asking for more when something is free. My favorite beer is the beer you buy for me... as they say. If a bartender tells me a drink is on the house, I won't ask for a better drink. Obviously the guy is trying to get a better tip or get me to spend more or come to that bar more often. If I want more, I'll pay for it. Just my point of view.

So I bought this game at launch but quit the game like a couple of months in. Do I have access to all the goodies box dudes get?
