WildStar: Reloaded |OT| Full Steam Ahead!

I give up on this game for now. Lag is affecting attacks and interactions. I will try again in a week or so and hope things get better.
 
I finally got my character created, but I'm still unable to log in.

Can't get past the loading screen, I just keep getting booted back to character select.
 
Wanted to check this out last night but on the character creation screen ther'es some huge ugly half woman half beast character blocking the actual character I'm creating so I couldn't see what she lookd like to customize her. Meh, guess I'll try again in a few days.

Finally was able to get through the the tutorial. So far the game seems fun especially the combat. I've been using the default key bindings but I feel like it gets way too complicating when you're trying to maneuver and attack at the same time. How come I'm able to spam my abilities using the number keys only? I was able to use right click on occasions to attack the enemy but I wasn't able to spam it. Not sure if double clicking on the mob let me attack or not because sometimes it would or wouldn't. That could be from the lag but not sure. What key bindings are most people using? I don't have one of those MMO mice with a plethora of buttons.

Switch to mouse lock mode (I believe it's in control options). It makes it easier to move and attack at the same time. I also bound my 3/4 abilities to my mouse side buttons.

Got a character through today, yay. Did a quest and I guess that was that. I think I will just wait till my Steam Controller arrives. Might be a good game to try it out.
 
EU, logged in this morning when I got home from work, killed a mob, crippling mob. Is is it even worth trying to log in now?

edit: nope, cant even log into the game, just goes back to the character screen after a long loading screen. Another try tomorow I guess, and the weekend is upon us...
 
Played for a few hours last night, got to level 11. Tried doing everything from pve to pvp and... The game is super addicting. I rarely pick a class I like on my first try but I'm loving the Spellslinger.

One of the best features of this game is being able to swap between two different specs, especially for pvp.

Logged into NA PvE the smoothest I've seen just now.

I've only just started but I like the overall feel. World feels like I'm playing a 6th gen platformer.
 
US is working perfectly for me at least. Guess ill play Dominion with you Dragon Punch :3

I hope so, too. The overnight maintenance + the recent one along with the patch seem to really help so far.

Anyone have any good sites that have information about the game so I can learn while at work? I guess the wiki is a good place but was wondering if anyone had a good sight with guides on crafting or amp set ups or action set guides?

Also anyone know what the deal with dyes are? Do you unlock them and they are put into a collection type thing to be used whenever? Or are they one time use?

Not sure about the guides but dyes are reusable. When you unlock one it goes into your holo-wardrobe and you can apply it to any gear slots you want. It just takes money to apply them, they never go away.
