Still looking for an invite on PvE exile side US. Anyone on? Nirra Stormbringer. So far I've hit level 12 on my Esper. Have a level 50 one on PvP side but since everyone moved here I'm releveling. Remember why I loved the game when it came out originally. So much fun.
 
Arrah Starkiller - Exile Spellslinger on Entity 1.

Been playing for a better part of this morning and the game has largely stabilised with the addition of the new realms. Didn't get any of the errors I was experiecing yesterday, no hamster wheels of doom, no dropped cryo pods, instances work, there's no latency with item drops, only a bit of latency here and there with a few hiccups.

If this keeps up I can definitely see myself letting my WoW sub lapse and subscribing to this for a while.

Nice really glad to hear!!! Should be home in like 2 hours to bask in the Glory of Nexus and hoping it's still nice and smooth! Been tired of just pushing myself to deal with the horrible loot lag and exp gain lag!

Yeah they are just gonna merge the two servers together once they figure out the issues.

I kept CTD after the load screen and it worked when I turned it off.

edit: Nevermind doesn't work after all. Just got booted back to character select.
 
So, thanks for the guild invite. And it seems the Kel'Voreth Underforge Expedition is now level 25+, even though it still says level 20+ in the interface. Bleh. xD

Got stuck somehow, couldn't do anything, not even switching/quitting would works.
Anyway, it's already 1 AM CEST so see you tomorrow.
 
So here's something interesting I found from the launch update notes.
  • If you create character slots on the new servers, when you merge back you will gain all of these characters
  • Free character slots until you delete them, then you will need to purchase slots again
  • There is no cap on the number you can gain, 12 toons per server will give 24 when the servers merge

The game ran perfectly last night, such joy. The new servers definitely help a lot.

Anyway, do I have to be online to get an invite to the gaf guild?
Character name is Eddy Tansil. But I'm still away from my PC until later.
 
Spoke too soon, tried to join a battleground with my Spellslinger to do that voodoo mask enhancement quest, got booted out to character select. Tried to log back in to the game and got booted out to the character select screen again. Tried a third time, same result. Tried logging into my Chua Engineer, made it in eventually. re-tried my Spellslinger, spawned in the middle of the sky above the Battleground, plunged to my death and respawned at the Exile starting area in Algoroc.

MMO launch fun times. I'm just glad my Spellslinger isn't caught in some weird limbo between the instance and the zone.

Edit: Also thanks for the Exile guild invite, the name is neat.
 
Yeah, I decided to do a dungeon on my Engy and got kicked to character select endless loop. Sorry to my group, lol.

According to the stream they did earlier the game kicks you out when there is an error while loading your character. Doesn't matter what the "error" is. They just would rather you get kicked to character select than see yourself in some bugged state. Weird.

They really should've stress tested this, but too late for that now.
 
Guess I lucked out when I made my character yesterday and didn't run into a queue. Sat down tonight and landed in a 2,000 person queue. Seems to be roughly half an hour long though so I guess it's not that bad by MMO standards. D:
 
I am trying to log in. I click my character and it starts to load and then just boots me back to the character select screen. I turned off Dynamic Shadows but still doing it.
 
Logged out to grab dinner and while the queue was only 30 seconds, it's bouncing me between the character selecting and loading screen now.

I know the GAF Exile guild isn't on Entity 2 but how is the performance and queue times on that server?

Edit: They're doing a server restart to see if it gets rid of the log-in issues. If it doesn't address the issue I'm going to try to make a toon on Entity 2.

Entity 1 was lag-free when I logged in a ~20 minutes ago. I did load-loop a few times before getting in though.

All servers are having the character loop issue from what I understand.

@WildStarOps Even with the two extra realms?

Haven't been able to log onto my characters at all today due to the character loop. Which is weird because I can make characters and play on Entity-2 just fine.

What a mess.
 
I can't even get to char select, it seems. I just wanted to get my daily login bonus, I didn't expect to actually play much. Ah well.
