Looks like I spoke too soon. Now I'm locked out of my Entity-2 characters.
haha, welp.
Load looping a bunch on Entity 1 now too. Got in last time after maybe 3 attempts but it's grumpin out pretty hard now.

They're doing another restart, server should be up in 2 minutes. I was in the middle of making an Entity 2 Exile toon to see if I could get in to that server.
And GAF just goes and rubs in the fact that I can't log in!

Oh they're currently down? I didn't even know that. That might be why.NA servers are still down as far as I can tell. Even the status website is showing them as offline.
Edit: NA servers and NA Auth are now both down.
I can get to character select, but choosing a character just gives me a full progress bar on the loading screen forever.
Entity servers are down.

I mean, I believe you, but they're not doing a very good job of communicating that fact. I took that screenshot just now. The WildstarOps twitter hadn't even been updated for 6 hours until 1 minute ago.
Anyone on windows 10 having trouble just trying to install the game?
I click on the WildStar.exe and the program just ends and refuses to lainch with no error or anything.
Run it in Windows 8 compatibility mode.Anyone on windows 10 having trouble just trying to install the game?

Still no bueno. Even as administrator.
Running Win10 here without issue.
Two things to try:
1) Launch the exe with the command line. Maybe it spits out some debug spew there which can give us a hint.
2) See if anything shows up in the Event Viewer. Right click the start button -> event viewer. In the Event Viewer (Local) section on the left, expand "Windows Logs" and then click "Application". Look through the list for any Application Error's (under Source column) until you find one for WildStar.exe. Let us know what it says, and if any of the surrounding entries have anything related to WildStar.
My gut feeling is something like the CRT or .NET framework it is expecting is not installed.
If anyone knows where WildStar keeps its logs as well, let us know.

Doesn't matter what the server is. The error happens on Entity 1, Entity 2, Warhound 1 and probably Warhound 2.
Whats going on with all the servers? Is this game actually getting popular?
The servers have been getting obliterated since F2P launch.
Now that I know what a circle is (I didn't before starting the game), I think it might be worthwhile to move everyone over to a circle, because I also have aspirations for raiding and I don't know if the GAF guild will be able to accommodate. So if I'm gonna be serious raiding, will the GAF guild fall apart by then? lol
Everytime I'm in a GAF guild, it dies so fast.

They probably should have launched the game as an open beta

I'm wondering at what point does this become a serious issue for NCSoft/Wildstar. The way I see it, I'm a key target for Wildstar to make money. I'm not a big MMO guy. I'm here because it's free. People who are really into MMOs probably bought the game in the past and even paid the subscription for a few months. My point is, they want my (and people like me's) money.
The problem is how long will casuals like me wait to be able to really try out the game. I'm interested! I want to see what's going on! But some people don't have any interest in waiting for a game to work. I plan on waiting it out because, like I said, I'm interested in what's going on.
My ultimate question is:
At what point will the majority say "F this" instead of "it's a good game (when it works) that's free."? I know things will be smoothed out eventually but how long do they have before interest fades?
