Espers are fun but Medics are the only ones that can heal shields should you ever decide to spec as a healer.

I only play healers. And I know the differences; Ive done lots of research. I just cant decide.
Then it should be an esay choice but I mean, you could always decide by looking at end game gear or flipping a coin.

Question: Is there a way to change character appearance (face, body type, etc) later in the game? Or am I stuck with the character I have?

You can pay a lot of money to an NPC to change. I don't know about other zones, but there's one standing in Woodhaven in Celestion.

There are appearance change vendors but it's pretty expensive.

The game was working flawlessly this morning and just now before the maintenance hit. I hope we are in the final stages of fixing this issue. Zoning seemed to be working fine as well.

Just make sure to choose Expert when choosing your experience level (Not New to MMO's or New to Wildstar) when creating a character,

So this green wave effect in Everstar Grove is annoying my girlfriend, but why don't I have the effect too? She has the debuff but not me and yet we started exactly the same time at the same place. For what I've read it's supposed to be a story-thing but I don't have it for some reason?
You can't pick your starting zone, but you can use the nearby teleporter to go to the other one.
Installed overnight and played an Esper for about an hour before maintenance came around. I understand about 50% of what I'm doing but it's fun so far. I'll probably try out Medic for the first 5-10 levels as well.
Between Esper and Medic, is one more capable of soloing than the other?

15 minutes estimation of Maintenance, should (hopefully) be up soon.
There's no class in Wildstar that can't solo effectively, because every single class can be played as DPS.

I've only been making Cassians and Humans so far. I don't find any of the other races cool. :/

Well, if you go Exile, it'll plop you down in the Northern Wilds as a Human, which leads to Algoroc, which is one of the best zones I've seen in an MMO.
I keep forgetting there's jump points between the two.

there's still some hiccups now and again but since the servers were added things seem to have improved...hopefully in the next few days they can iron out the rest of the problems

The latency is so bad on Entity 1 that it takes about a minute for quest givers to respond. If they respond at all.
