I tried a Spellslinger when I played before...I think I'll try Engineer when the F2P starts
honestly I don't really know what class I want to focus on so I may end up trying them all at some point

I grabbed two retail boxes for $5 at GameStop yesterday so that's 60 days of play and two unique items. Going to wait till Tuesday to use them though as I'm going to restart as an DPS Esper on the Dominion.
I xfered to the PVE server though when I went back awhile ago because the PVP server was dead.

They're megaservers like ESO does now, so just one server and regions split into instances as needed.
You can ignore them, there's I think a mandatory quest to learn about them and show how they work. But otherwise it's not much you should concern yourself about.
Right there with you man but yeah like Seiniyta said there are like 1 or 2 mandatory things to do. Relatively painless.

Really not sure what class to do. Can warrior be viable as dps or they mostly forced to tank

Every class is dps and either healing or tank, so they're all viable in that way or all 'forced' into a support role if you feel the urge to get a shorter queue.
Not sure I'd agree about rangers and espers. Stalkers are the more rogue/assassin archetype and spellslingers are the longest range dps. But they're all just different forms of damage.
Stalker is your assassin (pretty much the Shadow from TOR) while Spell Slinger is more of a Ranger. Can't speak to Warrior DPS viability too much, I remember them being rather good in PvP. I think Spell Slingers also have this ability to disappear into another dimension on cooldown to evade etc. It's actually really neat. If it's a slinger vs slinger battle you can actually follow them into that dimension and kill them there if I remember correctly.

Warrior was second best DPS back when people were doing the first raids.
I mean if you want ranged and mage-type gameplay your options are Spell Slinger and Esper so you were on the right track. Esper is much more of a mage.
You can add someone to the household, yeah. Don't think there are any duties or upkeep though. I believe it's as simple as friending them and adding them as a roommate. They'll be able to modify the house at that point.

There are some housing duties. Mostly just dealing with crops or other resources if you have that plugin or repairing fabkits if they break down.
Eh, but upkeeping your farm you can have anyone do if you want, you set how much of a cut people doing it get too - there were circles originally where everyone would do 50/50 share and just keep everyone's farms going, it was pretty nice since if you had a high tier garden or whatever you'd just check your mail and get the shit, also the owner always got the rare mats.

starting to feel this rabbit lady a bit more (the only choice for Esper since I never play humans in any game, way too boring), still wish I could be the undead guys. Still, Esper feels great to solo, its flashy as shit, so I just need to try some proper healing on it to decide if Ill play medic or esper for realsies

I think it's still up, I tried it last night. You could also wrangle a guest pass and get a head start on leveling your actual character.
Yeah the open beta is still up, open for everyone I believe.
You can create your character now and copy the code so that on Tuesday you can just jump straight into the game.

I had to send a ticket to get mine deactivated. It took less than a day, but this was about a week ago. They might be more busy now since F2P is so close?

There's a bunch of little hidden easter eggs and stuff in the zones. You'll find more of them as an explorer.
Edit: A squid helmet randomly showed up in my account inventory. It makes my warrior look... interesting.

Hit escape, go to interface, you can re-position and set interface items as movable in there.
Stalker, Warrior and Engineer are the tanking classes. Stalker and Warrior are melee, Engineer is ranged.
Is Ranged tanking any good? I love playing ranged

I'm not sure what the current status of class balance is atm. I'm fairly sure Engineer is a viable tank though.

The art in this game is great.
Of all the classes I played in the closed beta, the one I had more fun with was Engineer. I usually go for the "Can get invisible" class, but I found Stalker to be quite boring.
I'm probably making an Engineer for Tanking and Spellsinger for healing. I hope the performance is better in the Open Beta. I don't have the best notebook ever, but even with low settings, I still got average/bad FPS. And I used to play WoW, in WoD zoens, full of players and medium settings with decent FPS.

Feels weird so far I don't know if I like it or not gotta play with a few other classes, and see if things click.
The op is a bit confusing, will these characters move to the launch game in a few days or should I not bother grinding yet...?

If you're playing on the PTR/Open Beta then no it'll not get carried over.
If you managed to get the character code on the character creator you'll keep the same appearance.
There's only 1 PVE server.

There's only one NA PvE server. I'm not sure if an Exile NA guild was ever established back on game release. The guilds will just end up being who you can group with. We can use the Discord server to chat with everyone across servers, I don't recall if circles are cross-faction or cross-server.

Not yet, but I'm 100% sure there will be.
They have "megaservers" for WildStar which use a TON of server hardware each, so there's only 2 servers in each region.

Thanks, I claimed the 3rd one. I don't want to get to far with it, cause the character will be wiped come 2 days from now. I'll check out the character creation and first few levels though!

They won't be wiped if you're using a guest pass. That gives you a trial of the full game iirc, your character will still be there after the f2p patch if you're on the live servers. The early levels are being reworked in the patch though so the trade off for getting a head start is a worse (i assume) early levels experience.
