I'd love a WaW2 or something similar. What is it with shooters switching time periods en mass. I want variety without having to dig way into my backlog.

I for one am glad that COD is embracing this fast paced/rambo gameplay instead of putting tactical in front of everything to try to convince somebody that it's like CS.

In fact, blops3 it's still not over the top enough, wall run, double jump and shooting in every position is cool, now give me evade roll, dash and dedicated servers ofcourse, because with all that no way p2p would be enough. bigger and more parkour oriented maps would be great too. Now i'm jus wish listing and not talking about WWII shooters.

Battlefield in WWII with the old gameplay but new graphics would be cool tho, and more destruction., but cod...nah. Or somebody could go all wolfenstein/resistance and do some alternate history in WWII... i miss resistance now D:

I was just thinking while Black Ops 3 that I would kill for a new CoD game set in WW2. I'm burnt out on the future soldier setting.

Seriously if you want to try a WW2 game try this. Only downside so far is they advertise their gold everywhere. But you can earn credits buy playing it's just obviously slower. The game feels really good for me. I like tghe movement and shooting. Being able to stack 8 soldiers on a jeep or ride around on a bicycle is good too. Maps are huge and engagements are based around capture poits from what I've seen.

Agreed. Such a great setting that never really got it's due. I suppose the similar setting of Crysis, Just Cause, Far Cry type games potentially scratch that itch.

I remember when people complained about all the WW2 shooters. How the times have changed.

It's cyclical. People just want novelty. The modern shooter has now been done so much that going back to WW2 would be new again.
