The point was... that these first eight months were all a mess due to launch games sucking hardware titties especially on xbox.

So now as the reality of the hardware and development is shaking out (and Kinect release) it is clear that the differences come down to minor post processing and a resolution gap or two.

Yes it is/was expected by many but going by threads here it seems many also still expect some sort of overestimated graphical differences

Sniper elite 3 shows more the. Few post processing differences. Xbone version is lacking in many areas like lower res textures , worse framerate, and the biggest one IMO is the screen tearing . There are other differences too.

I don't know... for me the gap seems to be increasing and the performance is getting a big hit with devs trying to reach the same target with XB1.

Sniper Elite 3 is a good example... the game is just playable if you lock it at 30fps on XB1 even lacking a lot of graphical effects.

I will wait more examples but for now there is no evidence supporting what you claim.

It's good to be dellusional. Hilarious people like you kept bringing up the kinetic reserve. As if getting 10% back is significant but the 40% power difference that still exists is nothing. If 40% is minor then why even bother bringing up the kinetic reserve? Psssst the kinetic reserve does nothing to bridge the hardware gap between the two it only made it so that we are back to the starting point.

Yeah, I realized after putting them up, haha. Changed them to gifs now, sorry.
Alo, since you know a thing or two about webms, I used Skyfire's webm script with following parameters: VP9 / sound / quality 4 / 8mbits/s
It also crashes the browser when viewing on pomf or directly opening the file via browser. Any ideas why?

Ok, it's the VP9 codec. Just encoded to VP8 with similar settings and no more crashes. Super weird. Will use only VP8 from on.
Check the webms for yourselves. Weird Climbing Animation + Weird Head Animation
