Would you date a porn star?

One of my friends is actually a famous JAV actress (for 10+ years). The thing that bugs me the most is that when we go out the guys assume they're obligated to get something from her just because of her profession.
And elctrician shouldn't be taken for granted, why should a JAV actress? She actually has a boyfriend. Never actually met him or asked much about him to her, but I've gotten the impression that their relationship is just like any other. She doesn't cheat on him outside of her job, which technically isn't cheating since he's well aware. I can however imagine that someone working in the porn industry have a different view on sex with a real partner though.

It's 2-3 a week and they're supposed to get checked every 12 days. I wouldn't date a porn star because a lot of them have an insane amount of baggage.

This only really works if porn stars only pretended to have sex. They actually have sex, the acting comes in in between the sex and when they have to pretend that they like it.

given the amount of checking and protocol in the industry i'd suggest it's much more likely you're open to infection from hook ups in bars than you are from someone in a semi-regulated industry where health and STD Checking is a consideration.
End of the day - it all depends on what the person is like. I've only really held any sort of friendship with one porn actress and it wasn't exactly a close friendship, more we were in the same location at points in time and we'd chat but she was a very nice person. Interestingly one of the conversations was that she was curious about married life and what was the tipping point where i wanted to make the commitment.... but anyways....
Hell, i've dated people who had multiple partners before - again, if the person is my sort of person... why not?

I'm sure there are people that wouldn't be comfortable with that either. But there is also a difference between being an actress that occasionally gets a role where he has to kiss another man and an actress that consistently or even exclusively gets roles where she has sex with other men.
I just saw your edit, no I don't think they pretend all of the time. I just meant that I'm sure there are times when they aren't into it but still act like they are because it's their job.
