If/when I go to Japan driving go karts around downtown in traffic doesn't sound like the best use of my time. Toad's Turnpike is a shit track too.

Agree. I just drove (car) in and around Tokyo yesterday and I the traffic was crazy. Plus the roads are a little confusing for me.

So should I not visit Japan? Because it sounds like (especially based on some of the the thread comments) if I did I would just be considered a nuisance by this living there.

Never visit Paris if you don't like the idea of the locals hating you for daring to visit.

Anyway while cool sounding, driving go karts on actual live streets? Nope. I love karting and would find a Mario themed kart track amazing but I would fear for my life if I did so in a busy city street.
