mrkgoo said:Yeah, I just woke this morning with my iPhone 3G having been plugged into my iPad charger over night. It said full when I plugged it in. But my icon was in the red on the lock screen, or when I unplugged. Scared me. I restarted, and it was back at 100%. I wonder if it's a bug in ios4 as it has never happened to me before.
Also, I plugged my iPad into my computer, which normally charges it, but I closed my computer - normally the port still charges, but it then said my iPad was no longer being charged. I figured it goes to a low power mode or something. But in the morning, it was fully charged. Hope it didn't mess with my battery like saying it charged when it didn't.
Lastly, Marty chinn, i'd like to get your view on the resolution of the iPhone 4 as someone who felt they didn't need or will appreciate the higher resolution (colouring aside).
You shouldn't use your iPad charger on an iPhone.
Your computer will charge your iPad, but only if the iPad screen is off. If the screen is on it will only provide enough to power it, but not charge it.
