XB1 Elite Controller ($150)

Any Gamestop UK'ers know how these where actually posted?

My order says RM 1st Class but my dispatch email says DPD with a tracking number that doesn't work....

Royal Mail post has come and gone so I am wondering if dpd will deliver or who is actually delivering....
 
Been spending quite a while with GameStop on the phone trying to cancel my order, but now that they've been adamant that it's already shipped, I still don't have a tracking number. Two days after they said it shipped.
 
Haven't heard anything from the MS store. If I don't hear anything by the 27th I'm gonna go out and see if any local stores have them in stock and possibly cancel my MS store order if they do.

went to two local ebgames here in Toronto. Can't put pre-order, the guy said lot of people asking for it. The motherfucking thirst is real

I gotta say, I've always been on board with this thing, but I'm surprised that it's sold out at amazon and best buy. I never would have guessed it would pre-sell this many especially judging from the early pages of this thread.

I really think the impressions online changed people's opinions.

I know for me, when MS announced this at E3 I said "$150 is crazy" but I then realized the amount of money I spent on my racing wheel, fight stick, rock band stuff, etc. and said "The price actually isn't bad as long as the controller's good" -- especially since I will being using the controller for FAR more games/genres in comparison to the other accessories I mentioned.

Nah, the best ones came from those that predicted that this was going to be a big flop quotes like "Will wait for the clearance sale" are just gold. so something like "XB1 Elite controller: Waiting for Clerance sale" have a nice tone to it.

The beginning of this thread is gold, and there was a lot of concern trolling going on, I think the highlight of this thread was this:

Im very happy I got my preorder and cant wait to pick up mine at gamestop with my Halo 5 copy, Tuesday is going to be a sweet day.
 
I'm not comfortable with singling out specific people in an OT. It's poor form and not good taste in my opinion. Those are peoples' legitimate opinions and while I wholeheartedly disagree with them, I'm not going to mock them in such a grandiose fashion. I'll just do that in a back and forth quote battle ;)
 
I didn't bite, it's too friggin expensive for me :(

Eager to see what impressions are like for those that ordered it though.

You can use quotes, not names, or ideas for that matter, and poster did have their opinions about the price tag, and found it over priced is understandable, 150 USD is a lot of money after all, but there are post that is just concern trolling, remember that there is still a war going on (silly, yes, but some people take this very seriously).
 
could not find any controllers and amazon.de said release 11.4.
So I went to gamestp and bought the elite bundle....


It's amazing
 
If the MS Store doesn't honor the 10/27 release date they promised me I will never shop with them again. I could have easily went to Amazon for my order and had free Prime shipping.

Does Amazon usually ship items like this on Saturday? Because mine still hasn't shipped yet. :P

yeah same here, but i live in NY and i believe they have a warehouse close by in NJ so thats why they do that. i guess it depends how close you are to one of their warehouses.

Alright, now I'm mad. I pre-ordered it within the first 2 days (1st day?) of it being available, and now they change my order from arriving Tuesday by 8pm to Thursday by 8pm?

Amazon better give me one hell of a thing to compensate for this, considering now I can't even purchase it anywhere else because I gave them my trust that they'd get this to me on Release Date.

EDIT: This was my status as of yesterday.

I used like $90 I got from Amazon credit using Bing for 3 years and never redeeming my credits.

Then I purchased a $60 Amazon gift card a few day ago using old-trade in credit from GameStop and applied that to my total, just so I don't have to actually pay for the controller with my Credit/Debit card.

Oh, I see. You might have dorked yourself a little by making a change to your payment option, maybe...I don't know how it works.
All I know is that if you make changes to your order you're rollin' da dice.

Have you contacted support? I think I said earlier, once I ordered a fight stick and it came later than the date they supplied when I ordered (honestly, I think because of Hori because it was like...getting delayed at other retailers, too) and they took 20% off (Hey! 30 bucks!). It's worth a shot. I wasn't mean or anything, I just asked them if they knew when I would get my order and I was expecting it "date."

Yeah, from what I understood he changed from using his debit/credit card to another option. I thought completely removing his old payment option could've done it.

Just applying credit that you have on your account shouldn't do anything to the order. I believe it only becomes an issue when you actually change credit/debit cards on the order.

Thanks... just caved. 10% off plus 5% RED Card discount and free shipping... I won't get it on release day but I'll get it before Fallout 4. Good enough for me.

I don't know if I'll prefer this or keyboard/mouse for fallout 4, we'll see. But I also plan on getting several other upcoming games with good gamepad support, such as Fable Legends and AC:S (the later of which was free for me, thanks new GPU)
