Xbox Digital store is having black Friday deals

Can you buy them from Amazon without needing a card registered in the US? Are there any US sites similar to CDKeys?

You can buy Amazon gift cards with a UK credit card, then use the Amazon credit to buy Xbox cards, then use the Xbox cards to buy the game.

Or check the BST thread in gaming community. There is a target sale on at the moment and someone very kind was doing them at cost - was buy one, get another for 25% off - so two $50 cards cost $87.50 - or about £55

Terrible sales so far. Forza 5 30$? Meh. Killer Instinst Season 1 for 20$? Meh. Peggle 2, the only game with a good sale price? Removed from sale page.

Ryse, Wolfy, TEW and all the others I already own on PC.

Cmon MS, give me som good deals.

Code received!

Now I just need to figure out which address to use to avoid paying tax. And to clarify, it's as simple as just setting my console to US, rebooting and then redeeming the code in the store right?

Use an Oregon address, no sales tax. Just google a random store in Oregon

It should be $5 cheaper than physical, not $5 more. If digital pricing on console ever joins reality I think a lot more people will jump in. To each their own, I'd rather pick up the physical copy for $24 (Best Buy GCU).

To me, it's the opposite. I much rather have the digital copy, if the price is reasonable (anything, but full retail). As my library grows, changing discs becomes a bit tedious, unless it's a collectors edition (but I don't buy these).

Right
I bought Diablo 3 on PC launch. That wasn't very good experience. Is updated console version much better?

Yes.

Fwiw this caused me a lot of shit with other MS services. Ie Dev Center etc.

Excellent, thanks for confirming. Thankfully, I don't have any other MS services, so I should be cool.

Thanks for the heads up. Think I'll grab UFC today and keep the rest for the weekend or I might just keep it all for the weekend and wait for UFC to hit the Access vault.

WAIT..........is that titanfall bundle really only $19.....holy shit!

and $30 for Morder and Wolfenstein.....got damn!!!!

totally grabbing Titanfall now

So..Erm..

I bought Angry Birds Star Wars and installed it but it wouldn't let me launch it so I deleted it and now it's not on the XB1 store and the web page is gone.

Da fuq is going on.

Did you get an error code when you tried to launch it?

Some games get removed from the web store for some reason and you're unable to play them till it gets put back. Just wait a bit till it appears again, it happened the other day with EA games.

MCC for $30? In its current state its not even worth that.

Where do you see that?

And yes it is.

4 Halo campaigns at 1080p and 60fps? That's pure bliss. Halo 2 Anniversary campaign is worth 60 in and of itself.

In fact, where is this 30 dollar deal? Going to buy it again, digitally.

Just bought Sniper Elite 3 with the 40% off sale. Only ended up paying like 10 bucks or so because I had store credit from the fall pre-order offer.

The UK prices are appalling. Black Flag is £28 but I can already buy a digital copy online for £12.50. Diablo is £36 but I can get a retail copy from Amazon for £33.

Which game is better? New to forza series and want to pick up a good racing game...
Both are pretty good, but have a different take on racing games.
Forza 5 is an excellent sim racer with a great physics engine. You have closed circuit races on real tracks. However, it doesn't have weather changes like rain or even night time races. It was a solid racer at launch with solid 1080p/60 fps. Hopefully Forza 6 will include weather effects and if the pattern continues, Forza 6 should be released next year.
Forza horizon is a blend of racing games. It's a beautiful open world game based on Southern Europe. It's got great music and a modified physics engine based off of Forza 5. Although it is an arcade game, it's physics are slightly more "sim-ish" than "arcadey," which is still great for the open world. It does have PGR elements like the kudos system. Also, the graphics are really nice. It's my GOTY contender. And yeah, it was night and weather along with cross country races.

You can't go wrong with FH2 unless you hate all types music. Even then you can turn of the radio. Get Forza 5 if you want a pure sim racer with real tracks.

Is Bully worth 4 bucks?

The 360 is upstairs now, so I don't know if I'll ever actually play it, or if it will just be perma backlogged.

Gamefly is selling Watch Dogs for $12.99 right now for XB1 and PS4

I'd stay away from it here unless you're super invested in digital

So I'm planning on to pick up a couple of games on black friday but my funds are limited. Will be going to Bestbuy and there are 3 games I have in mind but only can afford 2. The games I'm looking at are (Alien: Isolation - $30, Tomb Raider the definitive edition - $20 'I had this and played it for the 360' and Shadows of Mordor - $25) what two out of the three do you guys recommend?

Mordor for sure

Played through TR:DE, but it was my first time playing TR so I don't know if its worth the upgrade if you've already played it.

Tomb Raider is very good however as you played it before you may want to give it a miss.

Alien and Shadow of Mordor.

Buy TR again when it's cheaper.
