Good point, I'm thinking there are bound to be teething problems and maybe i should wait for the Pro version.I'm not getting either of the consoles. I skipped this gen and I plan on skipping year 1/2 of next gen. Neither console does anything for me but if I was to get one it would be the xbx.
Zing zing! I will be tuning in to DF out of sheer bloody minded curiosity~ wondering how they might reinterpret things in that even handed way of theirs~I’m waiting for the incredible analysis from Digital Foundry, since I really have no idea how anything works, can’t formulate my own opinions, but just love parroting out technobabble that— in all honesty—a golden retriever would better understand...after directly comparing its cognitive functions and mental ability to mine.
Yes, I guess you could just say I’m your average Digital Foundry fan.
Not sure if this is a cry for help, or cry of joy.Phil Spencer touched me.
Some girls get all the luckPhil Spencer touched me.
I’m getting it day one because my X is playing up with external drives, and I have 400+ digital games not including game pass that will all still work on the XSX. It’s a no brainer.
I’ll buy a PS5 the day that a great online MP exclusive comes to it too.
also I can’t vote in polls? Is it cause I’m a new member, anyone?
I have 100s of games and friends on xbox. Plus medium looks awesome and halo multiplayer is going to be awesome.
I'll be honest, I don't understand the other poll options. We're not Ree here, we can speak in plain language without fear of moderation, you don't have to talk about rival consumer electronics like they're Voldomort. Are those (at the moment) 12 people going with the other platform on day 1 really fans?
Day one due to BC, The Master Chief Collection, more powerful, Gamepass and Halo MP in general.
I respect this decision and mindset, but I don't understand it: Buying a new console to want to play old games? Why?
It's like saying, I'm going to buy a $5,000 PC with the latest and more powerful GPU, CPU, etc. so I can install all my SNES and N64 ROMs!
Like, I get that it's convenient to be able to play an old game when you feel like it. I recently played Okami on my PS3, but to me, a new console it's meant for experiencing new games, and hopefully, games that couldn't be done before.
Many Xbox fans get excited for BC but if you already have an Xbox One, you can already played all the BC games.
Gamepass seems really cool, and I think if I ever get an Xbox, I'll probably invest in a yearly subscription. (at least). I don't know many games for Xbox, but I'd love to try many of them for the price of three in a year. However, I think people don't realize that not all games will be on gamepass, and, while not confirmed yet, they could also remove games from it from time to time (if they do a business model like Netflix).
