Amazing. He was dripping with sweat after that short workout. I can't wait for this, especially since it's free. The challenges seem really cool too. I'm really competitive and i think they push me to workout harder
Let me just say that this was only the warm up
Welcome to Insanity, power push ups here we gooooooooo
the sound of nightmares
That actually looks great
Edit: That dude is in pretty good shape too
They really do, but for me the most important thing is for a gaffer to use it for 6 months and make a report on it see if it really works and if it does THEN I'll be 100% on board. They need to be marketing this on Oprah and Ellen Degenres, the game could become huge if they do.
No way, this is also for general fitness and health. So is this aimed only for people who want to loose weight? I am normal weight and I don't want to lose any (maybe gain few kg).

Why are people disregarding the fact that the software is too lenient and forgives poor form, while encouraging frenzied movements just for the sake of accumulating points?
Man, I was really hyped for this before this video. :/

I have done Insanity in my front room and I know when I am performing well and when I am slouching.
I had EA Sports Active 2 for Kinect. I not only had barely enough room to do the exercises, but eventually would eliminate any exercises that required jumping, as the Kinect(TV) would move causing the system to lose you. I bought a brace to keep the Kinect on top of the TV, that locks in, so for it to move, the whole TV had to move.
I did try the Nike+ demo and I did not have enough room to do that.
So I switched to the PS3 version, that has the same heart rate montior and then uses other monitors for your other arm and your thigh. I have done that 9 week program 5 times now.
As much as I have been trying to lose weight and get toned, I cannot get excited for another Kinect fitness "game".

Beachbody, which makes P90x/Insanity is way more proven than what you listed. You get results if you follow the programs.
It's not as simple as that. There were some exercises I was doing in one fitness game on the 360 (can't remember which one, I used a lot of them) that I was completely off on the form for... and had been for years.
Short of exercising in front of a mirror or with a personal trainer I imagine there are lots of people making similar mistakes.
I have to admit that is pretty cool. Now you make me want to get it.

Uh, kind of bummed that once the free period expires it requires both XBL Gold AND the fitness pass. Why not one or the other?
also the camera on XB1 is much better and reduces the amount of space you need by 1/3I had EA Sports Active 2 for Kinect. Can't watch the video but I assume this wouldn't work for any movements where you have to be close to the ground such as pushups and crunches right?
Will this be available at launch?
I'm sure it will get pushed in the suitable arenas.
The fitness apps for the 360 were great but having a better camera with the X1 has got me excited.
You are missing the point... its the Kinect that is the problem not the software.
If you have a minimum of 10 feet in front of your TV and are on concrete floors, then yes, Kinect is fantastic for fitness. If not.... good luck.
MS confirmed that the new kinect will work in smaller rooms.
And how would this be different than using the video programs? You would have the same problems you talk about as many Beachbody programs have jumping elements. Not getting your points, dude.
in addition to the entertainment apps coming from partners, in every market Xbox One will also feature:
Xbox Fitness
Wait... Free with Gold? Seriously?
As long as they have options for people who aren't already really fit, then I'm in (P90X and Insanity are meant for extremely fit people already, aren't they?)
