Like how would Civ Rev or SFIV get made in XNA? I just don't see that happening.
???
Do you know what XNA is actually?
There is no problem making any game in XNA.

Plain Sight was also made in XNA.D4Danger said:there's a couple of games on Xbox Live Aracde (not indie) that were made using XNA
edit: according to this post these games were made using XNA: Schizoid, The Dishwasher: Dead Samurai, Blazing Birds, Rocket Riot, Yo-Ho Kablammo, Lucidity and Chime
It's possible though to make any sort of game. You probably could make a Civ game if you had the time, team and money.

there is a interview on the windows phone 7 site with Major Nelson where they talk about a card game or something that has cross platform play with a PC counterpart. The interview is in the the backstage-events area.neutralgamer02 said:From one of the video interviews I saw, there will be no real time multiplayer at launch, only turn based, but the feature will be added to future games. This is between two wp7s. I have not heard of cross platform gameplay(windows, x360, phone).

Da1nonly J said:Microsoft Canada's Greg Milligan has revealed at a recent Xbox 360 event. The big takeaway is future plans for phone-to-console gaming. While suggesting an initial use would be companion games that bring enhancements to full 360 titles (our first thought is how both a web game and Arcade casino title directly tied into Fable 2), he says it's something they are "absolutely" working on for the "near future" -- likely initially through WiFi only due to network speed sensitivities. "Near future," on that note, is a lot sooner that the impression we got at the recent hands-on, but in either case, we won't believe it until we see it with our own eyes.

Boo. I'm going to have to get something like 3G Unrestrictor on the iPhone again and that's gonna require a softmod toolikely initially through WiFi only due to network speed sensitivities.

http://www.ripten.com/2010/10/14/windows-phone-7-looks-promising/A great interface is fine, of course, but what about the core to any gaming platform: the games? Luckily, Microsoft is pushing a strong lineup right out of the gate featuring titles of such pedigree as Crackdown and Splinter Cell.
