60% off now and I'm still waiting for the full game I paid to receive.
$36 dollars saved there while they only threw 1 month of XBL my way, worth what...almost 10 bucks?
That's not cool.
Hell, for that price though, it's worth it even if the multiplayer is still shit. Campaigns mostly work alright now and in some playlists you get lucky.
The timing of this would have been so much better though if 343 had gotten their shit together and released the big patch they've been talking about before the sale. It would be like a relaunch. I guess they have a day or two still to pull that off, but if not, another huge missed opportunity.

You're also getting ODST for free while new owners will need to pay for it.

No. You can install from a disc and then buy digital if you want to avoid huge downloads but want instant access.

what Bsigg said and digital and retail are the same exact game. you won't have to redownload, but be prepared to download lots of patches tho.

You'll have a massive patch to download if you have the disc, but it saves you about 40GB of downloading (which is all of the campaigns).

No. I swapped my physical copy of forza 5 for a digital one and it worked fine.

Well the games that are on sale right now aren't technically even supposed to be on sale until the 18th, so there is hope that MCC might go on sale sooner but I've also read that it's supposed to be a weekend deal.

How is that possible? Does the game come in 2 discs? Even if the disc is dual-layered that only allows 50GB. Decompression perhaps?

I think the disc is 45GB or so, and just the single player. The multiplayer is patched in with an update.

You have an additional 20GB download when installing the game. Probably a tad more now with all the updates.
