This. It's all relative. If we see a $399 PS4, I wonder if we will see a $199 PS3.

Sony has less margin than microsoft to drop the ps3 price.... Unlike the 360, the ps3 still has two slabs of silicon inside.

Microsoft has announced a new model of the Xbox 360. It is smaller, sleeker, and quieter than the prior "slim" model. It's available starting today in the United States, UK, Canada and Australia, with more territories coming soon, according to Microsoft.

Can somebody help me figure out how slim this 360 slimmer than slim is? I'm going to be buying another 360 soon, but it's from Japan and they're not getting it day one. I need to assess if it's worth waiting for, basically.

I know it's the same price etc etc but desk space saved is desk space saved. If it's like an inch though? whatever

Knowing any other potential benefits would be nice too.
