To compete with Wii U
That's not "mini". It's just "not maxi", if you ask me.
Oh well. Regarding the pricepoint, after dropping that $500 nuke they can't really make this sucker too cheap or they'll cripple the XBone. Damned if you do, damned if you don't, methinks.
What's the point of this thing?
This is an absolute joke that they are charging the same price at this point. I hope Sony drops the PS3 price tonight, it will make the 360 one of the worst deals at this point.
Another redesign and no price drop? fail.
Why should MS price drop it now? They are still selling at the current price.
MS will probably wait to drop the price($149) once the Xbone hits
Any detailed specs out there? Actual dimensions, power consumption, wifi antenna specs, does the slim HDD slot in, etc?
Microsoft is repeating sega's saturn conference to the toe.
That 3 console curse.
Microsoft has announced a new model of the Xbox 360. It is smaller, sleeker, and quieter than the prior "slim" model. It's available starting today in the United States, UK, Canada and Australia, with more territories coming soon, according to Microsoft.
Pricing for the slimmed down model will be the same as the older model, with a 4GB (no Kinect) edition running $199.99 and a 250GB model priced at $299.99. A 4GB system that includes the Kinect will cost $299.99.
