Got my shipping confirmation email yesterday from the Microsoft Store (website), but it apparently hasn't arrived at UPS' facility yet; the tracking number doesn't bring anything up other than that.
I do find it interesting that it says the shipping method is "Next Day Air Saver." I was expecting/figuring it would be sent via plain old ground (3-5 days). So does that mean if it shows up in their system today, I could have it tomorrow or Wednesday? That would be super early and pretty awesome.
...then I'd just hope I won't get banned for playing it early. Oh man, I really hope none of that shit happens.

You might be right, however Sony shipped my PS4 last Tuesday so it is a possibility.
UPS My Choice says delivery is Tuesday so I CHOOSE to go by that.

I spoke to Game through the web chat, apparently because I used my reward points to pay for the deposit I had no card or delivery address associated to the pre-order (although I have 1 address and 1 card on the account and was told previously by email that it would be OK).
Anyway the rep had to call me and redo my order. She said I will still get a FIFA 14 launch day edition and I will still get it on Friday. Hopefully it all goes as planned.

Would be awesome if MS actually got them out early. If they really are delivering on the 19th that would line up with the embargo.

Don't worry if you ordered on Amazon and you don't see any activity until Thursday morning or afternoon--my PS4 didn't leave the Amazon warehouse until after midnight on Friday, but it came later that day. That was with two day shipping, even. It's tough to keep F5ing and seeing no improvement, even the day before it's supposed to come, but have faith in Amazon, you'll be enjoying that next-gen goodness by Friday.

No confirmation email or charge to my account yet from the Microsoft store. My 2 games were charged though. Hopefully my preorder still exists, as I tried to cancel it, but never got a confirmation email on the matter. Ended up with enough money left over after building a pc.

UPS Mychoice simply takes the date of shipping label creation and equates a delivery estimate based on the shipping speed selected. I had a few album preorders over the summer that Mychoice claimed would get delivered a week early, but they all arrived the day of release. The tracking info isn't updated until it's actually picked up, which I'm guessing won't be for a day or two.
Also- charge cleared from MS Store, but no shipping email yet.
Its a special edition console, so unless your receipt says its a Day One Edition, I really doubt it.
Have no idea. Used to be Friday when I checked a month or so ago but checked today and it was Saturday.

Not sure if ShopTo/DPD have changed their methods or anything but am hoping that I get my Xbox on Friday as I'm in Northern Ireland which isn't the mainland.

Fuck Hermes, seriously. The Hermes-guy never bothers to even ring at my door. Another reason why I am getting both consoles delivered to the Packstation. I just hope they have enough large enough compartments.

After reading this I decided to try it for a bit and within ten mintines and me checking like everyday for the last week, I was able to preorder on BestBuy Canada.
Don't know if it will actually go through but I did get an email confirmation. So fingers crossed.
MS Store Black Friday sale beat all the other retailers (in terms of 360 game sales) so I hope they have something planned again.
Yeah, I made out like a bandit. $15 Forza Horizon, Witcher 2, other stuff like that.
Still, for a console launch I played it safe with Amazon. They always scare me with how last minute they ship, lol.
i assume they're just prepping the packages early but will release them further into the week

Dito... problem is, that I'm a Prime member and my Xbox will be shipped with "Premium Versand" - that means they will probably dispatch it Thursday while orders with "Standardversand" will be shipped today/tomorrow. The latter method always comes the next day for me.
Changing the delivery method also changes my estimated delivery to Saturday, so I guess they already packaged the consoles and just wait to hand it to DHL.
