Just read this horror story in the Amazon forums:

Could you translate this into the Queen's English, please?

Having trouble understanding the context with translators.

Edit: Example:

Someone asked about his order and the support person told him that the distributor wasn't able to ship any Day One editions as of now... no idea if that's a fake or not.

Googled a little bit further and it seems it's Amazon's canned response for questions about the estimated delivery date for preorders.
 
No emails from Amazon at all. If I don't see that it shipped on Wednesday, I'll shit a fucking brick

Same. But yeah, the email they sent through suggests Friday. If you look at the tracking on DPD as opposed to the one directly from your Asda account, it doesn't say anything about delivery today.
 
Someone here (I think) said Xbox Ones from the German MS Store would be sent from the Netherlands. So I took a random city from the Netherlands and calculated the time and cost on the UPS website to deliver a package to me. As long as they ship it tomorrow (21 Nov) before 1700 (with any ship option besides Standard) it is guaranteed to be here in southern Sweden before the end of Friday. Standard is guaranteed to be here before end of Monday.

I really hope they don't ship with UPS Standard.
 
Mine has switched to "Shipping Soon". I decided to cancel it but i'm getting an error message and it's not letting me. Guess i shouldn't have waited so long.
 
I got shipping info for my games from MS Store. Nothing on the console from Amazon except for the double--check your payment thing which I didn't bother with, they had no problem charging my PS4... Not worried about Amazon.

I'm really hoping MS Store doesn't screw things up and make me wait till Monday for my Ryse, Forza, and Dead Rising 3. But I haven't used them for much so not sure I trust them. Still, I'm encouraged that the labels are printed and that it will presumably be on its way later in the day...
 
Day One Edition (£399) Despatched from Zavvi this morning and they are using Yodel, who I'm told are really rubbish :( Out for standard delivery which is 2-5 days, and estimated delivery is Monday 25th :(

Some people have had customer reps say they'll get them day one, though, so I'm not sure what to expect. I'll nag @zavvihelp a bit more later.

...it's fine. They will be charged and dispatched shortly.
 
My Amazon UK orders remain unchanged. All say ''waiting for dispatch' and all are tagged for delivery on Friday 22nd. My card has not yet been debited.
 
My Game UK xbox is now shipped, i'd asked Game support yesterday as to when it was going to be shipped and they replied Thursday which had me a little worried.
 
I asked Amazon.de support when they will start dispatching the Xbox One, and I've got this response:

Unfortunately we cannot confirm whether the pre-ordered item "Xbox One Konsole - Limitierte Day One Edition" will be delivered on the release date 22.11.2013 to adresses outside germany.

Some manufacturers insist on pre-orders only being shipped on release date. There can also be unforeseen delays with the couriers.

Never asked when I would be getting it, I'm very capable on doing that math myself, I just need to know when they are sending it.
 
Amazon.de might ship all consoles tomorrow with premium delivery regardless if you have chosen another shipping method.

Why release ANYTHING on a fucking Friday?

Good to hear. They told me yesterday that my card would be charged that same day but there has been no change yet. Hope there is some movement soon, if only to put my mind at ease.
 
i received the email to verify and update payment information on card and it says "will not affect your november 22 delivery date"

i checked and after it updated it with same card it jumped to november 26

I called them and the first person understood little to no english, the second person updated my shipping again to 1 day and release day.

Almost fucked up my morning.
 
Microsoft Store USA (online)... Tracking on the UPS site still just says they have the label but the packages haven't been received yet. But then again, it's only 7am on the west coast -- not sure where they technically ship from -- so maybe there's still hope for them to be dispatched today for arrival tomorrow.

I can hope, right?
 
Pre-ordered Day One ACIV bundle from GameStop here in the US back in June. No shipping info or tracking number yet at 10 am EST, and their customer service rep is not providing any help. Have to assume that it will be shipping tomorrow, which means delivered on Friday afternoon :-(

Anyone else from the States hear about shipping or tracking numbers from GameStop? Will read thru the post more closely to check too

Edit: I have One-Day delivery method chosen from the start. For an extra few bucks I had to!
 
Well, this is a crappy day.

I got the check your credit card email like many of you yesterday. Today I checked Amazon and my Xbox One Day One is no longer an open order. I contacted support and was told I cancelled it a few days ago, yet it does not appear in my cancel tab for orders. I was told that items will no longer appear there.
 
Anyone that ordered this morning at Amazon with a Nov 22nd delivery estimate have their console preparing yet. Mine just says "pre-ordered"
 
Still no movement for me with ShopTo, no processing, no email, nothing. Won't be using them again. I'll get it before Christmas but no idea when. Only chose them because I was told I'd get it on release no problem seeing as it was not a Day One edition. Pissed.

Should have stuck with Amazon like I normally do.
