I'm freaking out a little bit. I was originally having this delivered to work, but my schedule for this week changed last minute (thankfully) to where I will not be in the office tomorrow. I went to the UPS customer center right around the corner where our area's packages go to request it be held. She confirmed that it was scheduled to be picked up from the Coffeyville, Kansas distribution center. She entered the request to be held, and I left. Ran some errands, and got home a few hours later and checked UPS.com. It was suddenly telling me that it was ready for pickup, which I know is not right since it was still waiting to be picked up from a location a few hours away.
I did live chat with Amazon, and the person I was chatting with seemed to have no clue on the issue. They just kept telling me I could go pick my package up whenever I got a chance to. I called the UPS center and spoke with somebody. I gave them the tracking number, and they said it was absolutely not at the facility. I am even getting the Amazon text updates telling me to go pick it up.
It almost seems like the lady at the UPS center that helped me marked it as already in Tulsa and ready for pickup.
I then contacted UPS customer service with the same results. They basically said they didn't have any info on it other than that it was being held for delivery.
Does anyone think I will have any issues? Did I or the lady helping me somehow disrupt the delivery chain for my package? To anyone else that requested a hold at delivery center today, what does your tracking webpage look like? Mine is an orange bar saying "Held for customer pickup". Does anyone else's look like that?
After not being able to get my PS4 until this Monday, I am a little nervous about tomorrow.
