Xbox One Upload to Youtube coming tomorrow

You can never compare a decent capture setup and a build in record setup.
You can so much more with a "real" setup.

I would only need to put stuff onto youtube that were cool moments, and since most videos would be compressed on youtube whether you use a good capture setup or xbox one's encoding, it doesn't make much of a difference for someone like me.

True but just wanted to say hamper you expectations for the "on the consoles" capture stuff that was all ;)

It's good to hear that Xbox One is getting YouTube uploading. I hope to see this ability come to PS4 very soon--and I predict that it will, considering that PS3 had YouTube uploading as a firmware feature way back in August 2008. With that in mind, Sony is no stranger to the concept of allowing gamers to uploading gameplay videos to YouTube.

Sony has always been slow with updates,i remember last gen we were waiting so long for a meaningful update.

On the contrary, I remember there were people who complained that firmware updates were coming out too frequently. They would grumble about only playing their PS3 systems once a month and having to patch the firmware every time they turned on the system.

The updated YouTube experience also allows you to watch YouTube videos in Snap Mode

Last time I saw the camera for sale was december near christmas. Buddy of mine has been looking for one for his launch unit for ages now.

if you are in the US follow wario64's twitter (if you're on it) he always posts whenever Amazon has new stock of the camera :)

I'm legit shocked after all the business around getting youtube on windows phone. Shocked google is allowing this.

Does the upload go from your console to the Xbox Live server farm and then from them to YouTube, like they do for SkyDrive (now OneDrive) or does it go from your console to YouTube directly? I'd much rather have an option to upload one time, and have it show up in OneDrive and YouTube at all at once.

A lot of those were general stability updates, which is where most of the complaining came from.

Hey guys,
It's welcomed news that this is coming to XB1 but I'm wondering if theirs any other console platform this should be coming to? I really wish someone would post about it and let me know because not knowing every three post is driving me crazy!

Couldnt have put it any better, beautiful.

On topic, its a good feature that its coming via the Youtube app, but I would like it to be patched into Upload Studio directly. Also if i'd like to have videos saved go straight to OneDrive so I can edit them on my console but also have the videos automatically uploaded and onto my PC where I can edit them etc.

Ms updating with actual features....

Sony gives us dat stability fix...

Man windows has been announcing features left and right since last week. Can I get a windows ps4 like Sony did with there laptops please? Loving the update frequency from ms

Excellent - can't wait to see what else gets added by the time I'm ready to pick one up. This is pretty huge for me already since it saves some steps.

MS really is killing it with the system updates.

Really doing a good job putting that ship back on track. They just need to make it a bit more controller friendly and its there.

These updates make me want to switch back, putting the Xbox One in the room and the PS4 in the living room. Now gives us them exclusive games!

Was excited for this until I remembered how bad the XO recordings are coupled with YouTube compression = sad face.

Is the recording quality also being upped ?

The quality is already better if you retrieve your video from skydrive and upload it on youtube, than if you directly share it from Skydrive. So assuming it will stay the same with the youtube app, it will still be an improvement even with the current quality of recording.

Downloading some updates, checking now if YouTube has. If it has I'll upload some clips to show quality.

They upped it in the last Beta update.

How is it now ?

Even uploading to sky drive and downloading it , the quality was still shit. I guess this isn't as much of an issue if the record quality has been upped in the Beta preview.

Abit better. But still not 1080p.

YouTube upload, YouTube in snap. Microsoft rolling with these updates. No just do a complete overhaul of the app's UI and I'll use it more. Should look more inline with their design language.

That's a great feature! I hope PS4 might get it too at some point so I don't have to upload to FB, which I won't do because it's FB... >_>
