So i bought in hopes of trading with someone
Congratulations. You would be one of the first to see them on store shelves after launch.

Target may show stock because they are supposed to have some for Black Friday. They could be in a box that says DONT OPEN UNTIL NOVEMBER 29th or something.
That is why they are showing stock. They may have them, just not for sale until this Friday.
Yup. When i was there I asked when forgotten/unclaimed preorders would be available.... "Black Friday"Target may show stock because they are supposed to have some for Black Friday. They could be in a box that says DONT OPEN UNTIL NOVEMBER 29th or something.

PS4 hasn't launched in Germany yet...
Ive just heard about the shitstorm on facebook and reddit about the Irish media store, xtravison, who wouldn't sell people their xbox one preorders without buying an extra game at the same time. Never heard of anything like this before.

The futureshop I went too yesterday had both Xbox one and PS4. The Microplay where I live had 1 PS4 and 1 Xbox one too. I don't think they are that hard to get, in Canada at least.
Sony's been making PS4s since late August apparently and according to Pachter they're making 1 million of them a month. So that's 3 million at least produced already and they sold a million in the US and Canada already. Somewhere out there are 2 million units being readied to restock the US and fulfill European pre-orders and eventual restocks. The only reason I can see for them not having stock in US stores right now is that they're willfully holding them back to build demand/anticipation, and will then release them on Black Friday.
I think that number is a little too high. They forecasted selling 5 million by the End of March. If they truly could make 1 million per month they would have been able to ship 7-8 million. It could be that just now they are able to make 1 million per month but that it took some time to fully ramp to that capability.
I am not sure if you are saying that Sony will hold them back or the retailers will. It would only make sense if the retailers did and only on BF just to draw people to the store in hopes that they buy other shit as well. The thing of note is that BF is only 8 business days after the launch and it could just work out that this is how long it takes to get a second shipment.
Did anyone try this on PS4 release day?
Forced bundles have been a thing in the US for a long time, but at least what you're describing is better since they're allowing people to pick the game that ends up in the bundle.
Actually no, what hes describing is very illegal in the states.
Just saw this pop up on Twitter (Italy):

Did you buy all 10? Because Target's website shows no PS4s available anywhere in Chicago.
Forced bundles however are not illegal.

Yeah, people in the US are reporting similar stories.Just saw this pop up on Twitter (Italy):

Makes you wonder if the sales really were "sold-through". I know Albert already address this but he is PR and PR's job is to make your console look good even if it means telling a little white lie.

Please can we not turn this thread into a pissing contest and have people report their local stock situation and be helpful to those looking for Bones. No need for lolol not sold out bullshit.
Walked past an EB games store in melbourne (southland) yesterday and they had a sign saying they had xbox ones in stock.
Target, Gamestop, BB, Walmart sold out in Rock Hill, SC area![]()
Agree. It's not helpful.
Pretty much all Walmart and target have them in Charleston.

i see those boxes but their usually empty and have nothing in them I could be wrong though
Wouldn't be surprised if they are using shipped number. MS hasn't been telling one truth regarding the Xbone. Penello...well Penello's going to Penello.
Well, in my opinion something in the PR claims smells of bullshit/damage control because there are too many console in stock to sell so much... will see.Trolls gonna Troll.
If anyone is in the Albany, NY area there is one more system available. Just canceled my preorder and the woman there said someone else had canceled their preorder shortly before I came. So there might be two consoles available.
This was at Gamestop
It's very possible. Most stores in my area, boutique and big box, seem to have them in stock.Dunno how reliable the stock indicator on ebgames.ca is but the Xbone seems to be "In stock" at every single location in my city (Edmonton)... that can't be right.
Funniest thing was though, he said they actually had a lot more people coming in to buy Zelda for the 3DS and the 3DS bundles with Zelda. Said it was definitely the most popular item going. Oh the games industry...
