Xbox One X launches in less than two weeks and we’re gearing up for the biggest global launch in Xbox history on November 7. We’re thrilled to get Xbox One X, the world’s most powerful console, into the hands of our fans, so we wanted to share some early details about how you can participate in the Xbox One X launch no matter your location. Whether you’re planning to join one of the many celebrations happening the night before launch or tuning into the live broadcast to watch it unfold on Mixer, we hope you’ll join us.

Pre-Order Xbox One X Online

There’s limited time remaining to pre-order Xbox One X to guarantee you can get yours on day one. Be sure to head to Xbox.com to find your nearest Microsoft Store location along with a list of other local retailers for you to order the hottest console of the season. Don’t wait to be part of the excitement. Time is running out!

Tune-in to “Xbox One X Launch: Live” from the Comfort of Your Home

Broadcasting live from our New York launch celebration, join us at mixer.com/xbox from your PC, console or Mixer app on iOS and Android for “Xbox One X Launch: Live,” our one-hour live stream giving you an inside look at launch activities happening around the globe. Epic Fan Celebration at the Flagship Microsoft Store on Fifth Avenue in New York

We’re inviting Xbox fans in the New York area to join us at the flagship Microsoft Store on Fifth Avenue on November 6 to be one of the first in the country to get your hands on Xbox One X. Whether you’re picking up your pre-order, placing a new order or stopping in to experience true 4K gameplay, we’ll be handing out exclusive Xbox swag and giving you a chance to win a new Samsung QLED 4K TV.* Visit the flagship Microsoft Store Facebook page for details.

Head to Microsoft Store or Your Local Retailer

All Xbox fans are invited to visit Microsoft Store locations across the U.S., Canada, Puerto Rico and Sydney to celebrate the launch with giveaways, gameplay and more. If you pre-order at your local Microsoft Store in North America, you can pick up your Xbox One X right at 9:00 p.m. PT/midnight ET on November 6, from the store where you pre-ordered.

The Microsoft Store at Bellevue Square Mall in Bellevue, Washington will host a meet and greet with Seahawks Cliff Avril on November 6 from 7:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. PT. Avril will play Madden NFL 18 on Xbox One X.

More than 600 Best Buy locations will be opening at 9:00 p.m. PT/midnight ET. Participating locations will support launch with giveaways, launch offers and savings, while quantities last.

GameStop stores will also be open at midnight ET to support the Xbox One X launch and you can visit here for more information.

EB Games stores will be open at midnight local time at select destinations across Australia and New Zealand to support the Xbox One X launch. Visit EB Games Australia or EB Games New Zealand for more details.

Celebrating Launch Around the World

Fans all over the globe will be getting in on the action for launch, with multiple countries around the world hosting local celebrations. A few highlights include:

Germany: On November 6, fans in Germany will be able to attend a gaming event hosted by PietSmiet, LefLoid, Gronkh and Ninotaku on Berlin’s largest 4K theater screen for 700 fans. The event will be also streamed on mixer.com/xbox.

France: On November 6, fans are invited to tune into a seven-hour non-stop livestream on mixer.com/xbox hosted by one of France’s top YouTubers in central Paris. More than 200 French fans and celebrities will gather to play new titles and celebrate the launch of Xbox One X, culminating in a midnight launch event at France’s flagship store at the Champs Elysees.

United Kingdom: Broadcasting live from the Xbox One X Loft in London on November 6, join us for the “Countdown to Xbox One X” on mixer.com/xboxuk and all Xbox UK channels for our extended livestream as we count down to launch with some of our favorite games.

Looking forward to this launch. Xbox is back! Looking forward to so much coming to this console with Forza 7 in 4k/HDR/60FPS to the new OG Xbox games that play so much better on the newer hardware.

I really want to see Xbox continue on this new path with Phil, I think he has help turn the ship around over the last few years tremendously from the Xbox One's launch in 2013.

I don't think any new games will be announced at this event.

I remembered the PS4 and Xbox One launch events and no new games were announced at those events.

Seeing the titles Xbox has available, I just can't get excited about them being displayed on a beast of a console. Hope it does well though and shows MS/Sony that a number of console folk do actually care about graphics and performance.

I had one preordered, but decided to cancel it. Just not enough games to make it worth it. I do plan to get one early next year. There's just too many games coming out this year that that money can be spent on.

Awesome! Anybody planning on attending the event in NYC? I'm scheduled to work that night so I don't know if I'll be able to go. I'll see if I can work something out. lol

I've pre-ordered the "Day One Shower Nonce" edition, which comes with the promise of Evilores elongated fingers rising through the plug hole with every shower to finger your anus.

What? You cancelled bc there isnt enough games, but will spend your money on too many games coming out? There will be plenty of games to play on it.

This only makes sense if you're talking about Japanese third parties and exclusives that are automatically relegated to the competition consoles.

Awesome, this will give me something to watch while I'm waiting outside gamestop to pick up my scorpio. Glad to see Microsoft building some hype for this.

Anyone remember if there was a launch event for the PS4 Pro? I don't think my gamestop even did a midnight release for it. I just walked in a picked it up the next day. Microsoft seems to be handling this much better than Sony did with the Pro.

Oh it's on the 6th huh? Then I'll definitely watch it. If it had been on the 7th I wouldn't have checked it out because I'm busy with my own One X then.

MS could do big showcase for Spring line up, good time to show new trailers for Sea of thieves, State of Decay 2 and Crack down 3, time to build the hype!
Give us a lot of useful informations, could be a great show.

I already have a PS4 Pro. Everything coming out for the X I can get on that for the time being. I mean no exclusives that make owning an Xbox worth it right now.

Congrats! Currently only have a nice 1080p 120hz LED TV but still super excited for the X and Assassins Creed: Origins. The texture res. looks incredible even at 1080p. Hoping amazon updates their shipping estimates soon 🤔

My Gamestop (sadly) didn't have one for the PS4 Pro, although it seems like the Pro is getting nowhere NEAR the hype of the One X

I don't know, but I think you're right that X hype seems way higher. I've got to assume it will have a midnight release, at least at major locations. I'll definitely be at a Microsoft Store just to participate in the tournaments if I can. Unfortunately I'll be out of town for work so I'll miss the launch day gaming festivities.

Fuuuuuuuuuu, pretty pumped about this, I was in line to get the original xbox so many years ago, then switched to PS. I was going to pass on this, but then my PS4 blew up, I got a 75 inch 4k tv, and my bday is on the second. Triple witching season baby, I'm in!

Nah, I haven't had an Xbox for years, and I don't like playing shit on my PC that isn't made by Blizzard so I am just excited to play everything console exclusive on this thing. Cuphead just happens to be my most anticipated.
