I don't think it works that way as the mappings on both controllers are the same. I think it's meant for helping younger kids but making them empowered.

Have any of you guys with a Series X tried Kingdom Come Deliverance? I beat it on my Xbox One back in the day and the performance was atrocious, specially near the end with the game crashing multiple times and going to literally single digits fps during the larger battles. I want to try it again when I get my Series X. It should run much better.

I tried to remember games that ran like absolute garbage on Xbox One X and see if there's any improvement on XSX. One of them is Ghost of a Tale. So, yeah, why not exactly supersmooth, it is so much more playable, especially when you fiddle around with V-sync settings.

I think the version was even done or near completion before Microsoft suddenly stopped it, it's not a good thing as some people are tired of Sony censorship or whatever and there are fans of the franchise.

Personally i don't really care as it seems like a lame rail shooter with only fanservice as a selling point, but i know some people are absolutely dissapointed by this.

Also, made a big stupid mistake, looked at upcoming shmups again, and really noticed the games not coming to Xbox and got sad, no Aleste Collection...damn, oh well, i guess i will just buy R-Type Final 2 when that comes out.

Has anybody tried watchdogs 2 hows It run and does it upscales to 4k and use hdr I remember on last gen it looked very bland compared to the ps4 version?

Ok....what? I go to their "Enforcement" website linked, and this is the info about the violation on my account:

The offending content in question was a janked out moment in Cyberpunk I thought was bizarre enough to record. Basically an NPC drove into my car, flipped over, their upside down car caught on fire, and then they climbed out and stood on top of the flaming wreckage doing a T-pose before the car exploded. It was WTF enough that I thought why not save a clip. As far as I know there was not nudity in the clip, who knows if there was something offensive on a billboard in the background. Maybe I was referencing a sensitive historical event somewhere...I'm really scratching my head at this one.

In all my years of owning a PS4 and taking thousands of screenshots and videos, I never received anything like this. Is the content of my screenshots and videos something I need to worry about with XBL? It seems a bit crazy that MS would punish me for taking a video of a game approved for use on their own console. This has really left a bad taste in my mouth.

Looked to see if I could, but it says it's not eligible to dispute. All I can think was that maybe the video was reported for showing Cyberpunk in a janky state? Which is stupid as I'm clearly enjoying the game given all the screenshots I've also taken.

So far I've been loving everything else about Xbox, but "The Enforcement Team" seems to have some real dipshits on it, along with whoever reported the clip. I paid for almost three years of Gamepass up front, so I'd be pissed if I lost this account. I'll just turn off all community sharing and move on.

I’m spending the holidays at our cabin. My Series X is back at our place in the city...so I’m playing on my One S at the cabin for the remainder of the holiday.

I cannot properly express how much I’m missing the Series X.

Censorship is at it yet again. MS is sending you warning for uploading NSFW (nude) content to Xbox live. It happened to me, when I captured some naked bug from Cyberpunk 2077. It's not a ban, it's just warning, but simply it's not worth to get warning for that. I contacted Xbox Support and they...

Yeah that's me. I was lets say one of 150~ who been there, but yeah, I was fixing streaming and doing QA, I left around 1.4 patch, due to poor health. I appreciated that someone remember : )

Poor judgement and basically lies from Crytek and state of their engine, lot of things were "hacked" together and hold in place by scotch tape. I know that end-user don't care, but if you are in with the development, it's different for you. I think we fixed most likely everything major. Fights were severely constricted due to memory, because the motion capture which should stay with player all the time were simply too costly. It was there, but it was scrapped and it has be substituted by classical few keyframes animation. It's sad but during the era, it was not possible to do it, probably now it would be without issue. Maybe with some massive team of programmers doing low level work it would be possible, but not on the animation system used from Crytek. That is what I am hearing the most as a critisim. However people love the game, those who choose to stay beyond the tutorial missions and it's like a cult hit. From certain angle, this is what Daniel and team hoped for, there simply wasn't budget and time to do something which would not be janky especially with such a depth. Crazy thing was, that those old historians were looking at development in such a way, that one of them sits next to animator and other next to clothes artist and they sit there for 8 hours and they ensured that these things were acurrate.

Development was also wild, funny story was that, we set to model village in Skalitz (Skalice in Czech), there is some small reservation nearby where the old house of this region is. There was a hotel booked, but for some reason they were not able to put there all the people from the team, so they were sleeping inside those old houses. A lot of travelling development happening on some grass hill with laptops. I mean I have fond memories. I was basically intern, because I am friend with that person behind Machinarium, Samorost, Botacula....he was my high school teacher and since then we are pretty good friends, so I get the chance to be part of it.

And a lot of things, like in the studio space, there were no chairs, no tables and most of the people started that they brought they home computer there, their own chairs and stuff like that. Nobody wanted to support this idea, because it was so niche (RPG without dragons which is also painstakingly historically accurate, about some country which people nowadays know from Porn at best) and so the situation was driven mainly by passion and money basically came only after 1/4 of the base game finished. However the people who have history as a hobby or historian themselves were on board since inception.

Development of this game is close to style when 4A did the first Metro. So all in all, in my eyes it's ubeatable masterpiece, not just because I was part of it, but the efficiency in sense of money poured into it and product which came out of it, is without hyperbole really insane.

Not the mention how accurate is the game world in comparison to Czech country side, it's basically same. Everyone could probably pinpoint, who is from here that, this is how our country really looks.

So I hope you and people here appreciate some introspection.

Love the insight into the development. Although personally when I think Czech I think Jaromir Jagr, but that's not to say the porn isn't also great.

I think the biggest appeal to be was the attention to detail and historical accuracy. Not a historian but I like to read about history and there is a ton of stuff from the region I had no idea about, and this game really encouraged me to do some reading on my own time. It was also inpressive to look up locations in real life and see how accurately they were represented in game.

I hope Warhorse doesn't compromise on this for their next game, fuck all the haters that couldn't hack it. I'll be there day one for whatever they do next.

I finally got my Series X! I hooked it up, I connected my external HDD and all my games are ready to play. Easy peasy.

I've spent the last hour looking at tutorials for the Elite Controller 2, that bad boy is a bit confusing. I gotta make a profile for shooters and then another one for 3rd person games or racing games.

I feel like a little kid during Christmas!!!

Thanks brother!

I'm currently using my old 2TB external drive that I was using on my old Xbox One for many years. I hooked it up to one of the USB drives. I want to get an SSD later down the road but the Seagate one that's currently available is pretty pricey.

Yeah I got the Seagate card to, a lot of money but it delivers on performance so probably still worth it. Then I hooked up an 8tb external for my Xbox One games and Series games that run from an external still.
The Seagate card is expensive but at least we have an option to increase storage at launch.

Indeed, and I had the cash, I do t know if it’s the new storage card but Quick Resume just woke up. Crysis Remasterd wakes up in about 2-3 seconds ...

It never got an Xbox One X patch unlike the PS4 Pro, so you just get the One S version with Auto HDR.
