Resonance of Fate or Torchlight.
Death Smiles
Does it have to be a series?
Because Minecraft.
Or RDR.
Xenoblade.
The Witcher, 'Souls or Stalker. I can't think of much else, I mean I liked other games but they're too repetitive and dull to play for long periods of time.
STALKER.
Or STALKER. Damn it I can't decide.
Uncharted would probably be the last of my picks.
I don't even dislike the game (mostly thank to its fine execution), but in terms of mechanics it summarizes pretty much everything i dislike about "triple A" console games: setpieces, scripts, linear progression, "cinematic experiences", quicktime events, and so on.
Someone named STALKER and Dark Souls. Those are two nice picks I would easily agree with.
Mine, anyway, would be Mount & Blade.
STALKER
Hmm, if STALKER counts, then STALKER. I am so sad about STALKER2
In terms of conventional this gen? Hmm... Mass Effect and Uncharted. They're both so different it's hard to call. I could probably finish the Uncharted Trilogy in the time it takes to get through one Mass Effect game, so on longevity, Mass Effect is more satisfying. I really love the world in Mass Effect too, I'm totally into the fiction there.
However, Uncharted probably has the best production values of any game, like ever. It really does feel like a mid-budget Hollywood action movie, and has some absolute fantastic set-pieces.
Don't make mechoose!get out of here, Stalker
I am baffled at the people mentioning Uncharted. The games are short, linear, and stupidly written. Wouldn't you, like, get tired of them or something?
