Edit: and now thinking back, Zelda was never very anime to begin with. It had the odd entries where it was anime-ish, but never full on. Which is why it's weird to see people try and depict it in that form.

There's so much AMAZING art in here that it's daunting to post my own, but I'll try.
Here's just a really quick sketch I did with Copic markers. Mainly because I wanted to experiment with the blue shading style used in SS artwork. Nothing special.

It's kind of a cross between LttP Link and SS Link.

And here is a detailed ballpoint pen drawing I did in a A4 Moleskine (A3 when open). No particular scene/area, just Zelda themed.

This is interesting, as I remember on my last playthrough of Twilight Princess I began to wonder if this was the case...since in that timeline, Saria never became a sage, I think it's possible she went off to look for Link and became a Skull Kid.

As much as I've grown to loathe Tetsuya Nomura's stuff the more I see it, I actually think this is kind of a cool way to portray Link. My only problem is the way he's holding the sword - the positioning suggests a certain weightlessness to the blade, which stands out (even more than it does in other media where you have unrealistically sized blades).

Loath that way of holding a sword. Holding a weapon like that only works if they are small and you want to get someone off guard. Why would you hold something so big like that any way what advantage does it have?
