No idea about Canada. They didn't actually specify Europe though, I said that because the commenter was from Germany, so that's my bad. Hell if I know what they're gonna do. I wouldn't be surprised if they just sent a second link to everyone. Whatever they do I hope it gets sorted out for all of us, not just those of us in Europe.

No brokerage or duty fees if you chose AmazonGlobal for shipping. I shipped many items from Amazon.com which I couldn't get from Amazon.ca to here in Canada and have never received a brokerage fee.

I'll still wait before placing my order, in the hopes that they give me my second watch (for the 3DS version) or fix the duties thing. I'd rather not have to go through Amazon CS if I don't need to.
 
I have an active preorder but no email for buying the watch with credit. Am I the only one? In the US and quite tired with this whole ordeal to date

I also have an active preorder. Still haven't received the game (but got a digital code to hold me over), and no email for the watch. I'm going to assume I'll be getting neither at this point...

I just got my watch from Amazon. Watch case seems kinda beat up but the watch looks like it's in perfect condition. The scuffs on the face seem like they're intentional.

I should of rephrased that, I meant no brokerage fees on delivery. I once got those ridiculous charges when couriers attempt to clear your package for you, but when you choose AmazonGlobal there are no surprise fees.

Plus the fee with AmazonGlobal shipping is minuscule when compared to the ones that other couriers charge

Or you know, maybe they actually will refund the import fees even if it does get charged. It's entirely possible. I'm just saying I would not spend $150 with the hope that it gets refunded later. I'd rather have a solution which doesn't involve me spending money I shouldn't have to, or I'll make do without the watch.

So i got the email that one of my watches shipped the other one is in preparing shipment phase still yet they both have tracking numbers and say they left.

4 hours, amazon....

Cider, who sent yours ontrac or usps/ups?

The cases themselves are pretty generic. You should be able to get a new one somewhere As long as the watch is pristine, it should be fine. I mean, the case was sealed with scotch tape, lol.

I really feel for you all, I absolutely do

The worst thing for me is that I had so much grief over this situation before I cancelled my pre-order, and it turns out that the game was a pretty big disappointment. :p

So the rep said that he will "unredeem the remaining promotional credit" in my account once the import fees have been refunded. What does that even mean? It's not like I will use that credit for another watch :/

If I contact Amazon about getting my promotional credit for my second watch, will they send it to me? I had two seperate orders; one for PSV, one for 3DS. Anyone had any luck? Will probably contact them when I get home.

I just ordered mine and chose 2 day shipping in hopes of them using different packaging. Why would they think it's ok to package them in an envelope wtf.

Seriously I love Amazon but bubble mailers and those cardboard sleeve things are terrible for games.

The case often comes banged up and the disk is lose. Sometimes I order extra stuff so they put all the items in a bigger box.

Can't wait for my busted up watch case :p

Holy shit, you got Matt H too? That guy was completely unhelpful when I tried to speak to him about the pending $570 charge on my credit card. Just offered to cancel my order (which was not even possible since its status was "Shipping Now") and when I asked to speak to a supervisor twice he just told me there's no one there who can assist with my problem. I even tried to get him to at least look at my previous chat logs and he pretty much told me that he'll end the conversation if there are no other matters that he can assist with.
 
I don't know, but it seems like progress. I had one 3DS and Vita copy each for my order.

If you guys have issues with chat CS, you should probably call and talk to a live person. Seriously, they can get even more done than just having a limited amount of things they can do/say. Chat should only be for quick fixes, since I don't think many of these guys have access to a lot of information as the actual call centers do.

So I got my watches (one from Amazon shipped and from Gamestop in-store pickup). Both watches had a slight crack on the outer case as well as having 2 small circle adhesives that made it seem like these watches were the ones that were originally attached to the bundle with the game. What would be the reason to have the replacement watches still ship with the adhesives attached to them? Seems fishy to me.
