Rockstar/Take 2’s detective crime thriller ‘L.A. Noire’ (+71%) has been promoted back into the Top 10 at No9 and Activision Blizzard finish off the Top 10 with ‘Call of Duty: Black Ops’ (-22%) at No10. I knew Zumba would sell , but this is nuts.

Although I would completely agree that the Wii really missed the big budget 3rd party games like GTA, Modern Warfare etc it still suprises me that people think its a dead console. Even if you think the software it sells is of low quality or in too few genres it still shifts a lot of units of software.

I wonder if Kinect is helping 360 in the UK like it is for the US.

Those are just the weeks the month covers.

The numbers are just calculated from the various sources we get.

Did Dirt 3 even get a proper retail release in the UK on PC? If it has it's sales are less than half a percent anyway.

It took a while for people to truly accept that the game had actually released.

I assume the game finally got a price cut in those regions, about 1 month ago here in the UK GT5 dropped in price to £27-£30. The reasoning is because the platinum edition will release in October so they want to get rid of current stock, it along with Black Ops are the only HD games I've seen as of late keeping their launch price for so long, GT5 would have gone so much longer as full price but Sony roll like this for all their games. No matter how well the game is selling, there will always be a platinum version released within a year, just how it goes with Sony.
