Horns drop only appeared in chapter/phase 6 and beyond. Below that you will get hornbits instead of horn. (I assume you only did Chapter 5 Cimmerian mission, sorry if I'm wrong).

I know the game says that maxing out a bond causes "good things to happen." But I still never found out what each character's maxed out bond does. Currently I have Tatara, Oka, Hatsuho, (and someone else who you can't take out on missions that I'm forgetting) 's bond as soulmate, but what buffs do you get? And for whoever answers, how did you get this information?

As a Speed Mitama user with a Mitama that has the Agility (Dual) boost, Cerberus ain't shit. He has zero attacks that hit multiple times so I can literally break every limb while facetanking every attack and never actually losing any hp.

Just want to thank the kind soul whose been compiling the list of items!
Missed a few of the MP runs sadly, but hopefully I can join in sometime soon.
Internet is pretty arse though, so no idea how the game handles latency.

The Guard dog quest is kind of easy but a lot fun. Sure the dogs of war quest will be challenging though.

Very cool to see Cerberus incorporated so well in to the gameplay of this.

yea hes not hard to dodge, but he hits HARD if you're not geared up.

I had a much harder time with other boss combinations. Windshredder + Pyrogrinder for example, you'll be ran over again and again, lots of blindsiding because both are all over the damn place.

At least Cerberus doesn't move much and Chthonian Fiend isn't hyperactive until P2.

Hopefully I can get through Phase 6 today and get stuck into phase 7. Been pretty tough finding a consistent hunting party, especially with all the bugs. Most people only stick around for a couple of missions. Anyone else wanna do this?

I'm always up for some farming. I need to complete the slayer collection, and I could use more haku after making 1m vanish in 1min by going after weapon specialist.

I will give the cerberus/ Chthonian a go later tonight then. I haven't tackled many of the dual monster quests because the AI goes crazy whenever I try it and I haven't had much luck online with some of the bugs at the set up lobby.

Anyone know the key quest in to progress from phase 5 to 6? I just defeated Nightblade and it unlocked a bunch more quests

Key missions are in red, if there isn't one then it's the last available on the list.

Just one category. Doing them all would be one hell of a time sink.

So far I only know:
Hatsuho: makes your easier to land precision strike while using Agility
Nagi: makes your homing arrows can target wider area
Fugaku: increase flurry speed
I get this because I bathe with them myself, and as for Yamato one I get it from a player who have maxed out everyone's affection.

Oh Okay I was under the impression that the bonds give you permanent passive boosts, but in order to reap the benefits of those bonds you must bathe with them. Makes sense. I think that bathing with Tatara makes it easier to gain compatability with weapons and Oka increases damage with gouge.I just got Soulmate with Kikka (I recommend doing the quests (quests not the missions) that are specific to the person you want to form bonds with because I checked with Shusei before turning in the quest, and after turning in the Kikka quest (about the food shes making?), and the bond was updated to soulmate.

Yeah I have no idea what mission I need to unlock 7 now. I've done all the red key missions I have and a large number of the regular ones including the last on the list but nope, nothing :/

I hope you won't mind playing catch up with me then. I think I'm only at 6-3.

Also, while I have people's attention. Anyone know what the best offline mission is to kill frostcrawlers (I think these are the blue worms). I have a request to kill 3 and another to kill 5 and I've got them active but I'm at 0/3 and 0/5, so I apparently haven't seen any in awhile.

Frostcrawlers are the blue Crawlers(the mini harrowhalf looking mobs). Chapter 4 Armor Busters has you kill 5 Crawlers, find a spot with a couple, kill them, leave and return and a Frostcrawler should spawn.

It doesn't really hold me back. I definitely wouldn't mind getting more materials and stuff, but mauovin would definitely benefit more than I would.

I think Shengar said they can only stick around for a couple of missions so a space may well open up then :)

And again. If someone in the room hasn't set their Vita as DMZ that's probably it, since I play with Amethyst and Shengar all the time without issues :(
