I find something like 90% of the yaoi I find to be totally unappealing to the eyes. I hate the heavy use of sharp lines on the face, i'm not a bara fan, ect. It's kinda suprising, really, that I can go to any big porn site and find something I like with no problems, but that there is very little of it being published out of mainstream sources (there are plenty of doujin that fit what I like though)

Especially hated them in like, Buffyverse fic. All Human AU's were such a popular thing. I honestly didn't get the appeal, since, you know, I love the show for the characters, and they wouldn't be the characters without their various superpowers.

Anyway the major problem with Yaoi is the story (>reading Yaoi for the story, shaddap) being a confusing jarring mess more than anything.
I think Gravitation is the only "Yaoi"/boylove novel I've seen that kinda turns that convention on it's head and just goes crazy for the sake of crazy.

I noticed there's quite a substantial amount of female/gay manga (I don't know what the genres are) on comixology. I guess they managed to sign a good deal with one of the major Japanese publishers or something.
