Edit: I guess the game is fully narrated?

It's nice (and rather surprising) that Nordic is letting Experiment 101 retain ownership of the IP and even the game itself.

The narration reminds me of Stories: Path of Destinies, which oddly enough also featured anthropomorphic characters haha. Combat looks fun.

Wow, this is looking better and better, loved the IGN interview!

This really feels like Darksiders 1 with animals and a lot more variety. I'm more than ok with that.

trailer made it look way worse but the ign gameplay vid looks pretty decent. Still for my personal taste visually the hits need more weight to them and animations need some more polish but it looks pretty great for a base.

I really hope the succeed. I want this game to be real great.

Yeah, reminded me of Darksiders too, which is a good thing.

Dunno about the narrator, i mean for the entire game?Sounds a bit annoying.

Hype deflated.
Gameplay looks rough, combat looks floaty, and the frequent narrator got annoying fast.

I liked the concept, but the presentation and execution so far leaves a lot to be desired.

That's a pretty interesting way to design a game. No directors or leads at all? Guess it really is an experiment. Othwrise for a game that's coming out next year it looks like it has a ton of promise and just needs to be polished up and fleshed out a bit in terms of animations.

Looks really good. The animations are great IMO, especially for an announcement trailer. That hand vehicle thing!!!

I'm in. Gonna keep a close eye on this one.

Watched the gameplay, looks really good. Can't wait to play it. Won't make my protag fur color like my daughter just got done coloring him/her though.

MY most anticipated game from Gamescom. I think this game is going to be a lot of fun. I can see my self tinkering with customization and abilities for hours.

yeah kinda rough, but they still got probably a year or more to work on it
they should definitely tone down the slomo though

Game is in alpha from what the video says. i watched the full gameplay demo and am completely in. Minor gripes but definitely nothing to put me off the game.

I REALLY like the art and idea, but gameplay is looking janky right now.

Very 'indie trying to be AAA

Hope it's good because these are the ideas that need to be flourishing through the industry right now

As you said, the industry needs this kind of games.

People should stop ruling out non AAA games for their own good.

Of course there's nothing wrong with indies punching above their weight, this game isn't there yet though.

We're still in the alpha build, great foundations but it's not there yet.

Need to see more, the tutorial felt a little weak for a gameplay presentation.

Maybe they need to show off more open world gameplay with bigger enemies.

Hope that Ui is really placeholder, cause damn if it isn't the most basic thing I've seen in a while.

Otherwise I'm still definitely intrigued, that looks like it could be really cool.

Not big on the minion-speak. But then I'm not big on the constant narration either. Definitely not big on both at the same time.

I'm 100% sold. Looks great and more importantly, different. We don't get many of these sorts of games this generation either.

Kinda reminds me of Enslaved a little bit. :)
